Cuadrado fue la figura el sabado en el juego contra Tolima. Saco basicamente todo lo que le mandaron.

he is still too green tho but I am impressed with him lately .... tho I still remember the 6 goals they scored on him .... and then the 4 ...... the next game...

maybe in a few years.... I think its werid that Colombia is know going to use like real young keepers like Ospina, Brayan, cuadrado.... all in my mind are excellent also landuarzi but in my mind are all very green and make real stupid mistakes .... Brayan bloopers come to mind ahha

Ospina to me is the best young keeper at the moment for us, and think he should be #2 keeper and our Friendly keeper against weaker teams... Like if we get a friendly against like France I dont want him to be a keeper but if we play like an Asian team or NA team why not.... the kid is better in my mind than Julio, Calero, Zapata and has proven it in the colombian league he just doenst have any international experience .....

also those who hate on him for the game against Uruguay ... those goals werent his fault and the defense he had was very bad !!! He had 10 men the whole time he played and 2 goals were pks, and he had to come in for bone head calero who got red carded to stop a FING PK....

the 3rd goal was his fault but as time goes on I think he will get alot lot better.

I don't think people ver blamed him for the games against Uruguay, most people generally agree he couldn't do anything against those two PK.s

I don't have a problem with any of the keepers. I admit that Rufay might the best when he is mentally there. He has the best hops and best reaction but has mental lapses where he does something stupid. He is the only on to me that really stands out. I don't see what the big fuss about Ospina. I haven't seen play much and the times that I've he has been unimpressive.

I agree with Dapip that Neko would have been the best choice but health problems set him back.

Ospina is like the least beaten keepr this season and last :)

yea .... and he is um 19.....

but I guess he isnt that impressive when he does bad it is usually because Nacionals Defense is bad.

the millos game 3-2 was because their was no DM .... Amaya didnt play and it really hurt the team... didnt like the midget after that game.

    so what?
Blandon is 22 and is already making history with Millos, and i don't see anyone here hyping him.. like you have hyped Ospina in 100000 posts..

i remember when you used to hype Troncallega with the same old "he is only 22 years old" excuse..

The success of A.Nal defense can be tracked to one player: Ivan Hurtado. As he goes the whole system goes. Amaya sucks, Velez and Zuniga are not very good defenders and Mendoza is iffy when facing fast strikers (altough good defending crosses).

If Hurtado plays well, Ospina does not have much work. If he is suspended or in an off night, Ospina gets scored on a lot. He'll save some, but I think that there is too much hype about him.

this kid has played 2 games... Ospina 2-3 seasons....

I mean u cant really compare both of them right now

I like Neko the best but he is injured so we cant really talk about him then Ospina cause he is young and showing great things but I do like alot of our other young keepers except brayn bloopers

who do u think should be keeper....

I dont know if Moreno and Julio have an amazing game and we somehow keep a clean sheet or even beat brasil I am afriad that both these guys will be starters

I tho Pinto did say if Robinho starts than Zapata will start for COlombia and Dunga confirmed Robinho starting tommorrow.

Julio is a good keeper and has been unbeaten for 500+ minutes but he hasnt played any good teams. Ok Paraguay but the same paraguay that 3 days before lost 3-2 to venezulea !!!! come on lets be serious now. Also he has been getting scored on alot in the Copa Mustang.... we need Neko to get healthy and soon

Zapata had 2 brain farts against Peru and cost us the W, has good international experience but just isnt a smart guy or has A.D.D

Ospina is still too green but the game against urguay was Moreno and Hurtados of Cucutas fault for commiting 2 pks and Calero for getting red carded so quickly

the real problem now is that we dont have a stand out keeper like when we had Cordoba and Mondragon. We have 3 good/decent keepers that Pinto has in mind but no one that really is all that great or extrodinary... like before maybe a in a few years as we ahve alot of promising keepers like OSpina, Libis, the Millos guys, and even brayan haha

Is it me, or does the MLS (and the USA NT) have an amazing array of goalkeepers?

I would take Perkins and a few other MLS GKs any time over Julio or Zapata..

well Zapata showed some good things in CL game, and we can't let that go, i watched almost the whole game and he was the best of his team, that's something special and i think put's him above Julio.

Julio has been great in all his NT games, he is the unquestioned starter..
i am mostly worried about the Riquelme free kicks when we play Argentina..
