Whahaha, he should be on the bench for the next five years after his attitude against Heerenveen...
SC Heerenveen turned down a offer from 12.5M euro's paid over 5 years. At 31 August 23:00, one hour before the deadline SC Heerenveen got a message from AZ that they want to pay 16.5M euro over 5 years. But SC Heerenveen didn't recieved a "real" offer.

even with his goal, a lot of pundits in brazil think he has no spot on the team. they would prefer to see pato or even a brazil-based player over him. im actually inclined to accept this. afonso just hasnt looked good for us. i think he needs to leave leave the netherlands in the transfer window to hone is game a bit more.

he didnt show up again in heerenveen
he should get a fine 10.000 euro with no salary each time he doesn't come.

He gives disrespect to Heerenveen, without them he was still playing at some team in Sweden, scoring 10 goals a year, and would never ever make the Brazilian national team.
    Contract = contract.

    Re: Afonso Alves

A year ago I bought the domain afonso-alves.com Hoping that this domain to become wortfull and sell it! With 34 goals I thought I would. Several people informed me to buy the website. At that moment I thougt, wait with selling the website, there is a Copa America ahead and maybe he is sold to a large club. This will increase the value of the site. Afterwards I feel like being stupid cause he didn't score at the Copa, he is not sold and at the moment no one is interested anymore  And to be honest with you, he is respectless towards Sc Heerenveen and doesn't deserve to move and should sit on the bench!

I got some exciting news for you amazon..

With Afonso at Barcelona, there is no way Dunga could not call him up. Vagner Love just needs to move to Chelsea and everything is set.

Now I want to see if Dunga will use the same excuse that he uses not to call Pato up for these two clowns. He says that Pato doesn't deserve to be called because he is in the fridge in Milan well these two clowns will be in the fridge if they played in Barca or Chelsea so... I could picture Dunga using a lame excuse to call him and his namorado even if they were in the fridge. A seleção é do empresário!!

Afonso Alves: Mad or just a football genius?

After a view hectic weeks Afonso Alves is back! Afonso Alves scores 7 goals in one league game against Heracles Almelo. Goals were scored in the 10th, 17th, 18th, 68th, 70th, 74th, 77th minute.

With his goals he passed Marco van Basten and Johan Cruijf who both scored 6 goals in one game. With his seven goals he is now second in the Dutch Topscorer list behind Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (Ajax Amsterdam).

    http://esporte.uol.com.br/futebol/ultimas/2007/10/21/ult59u134287.jhtm

    2 games = 8 goals

IMO all he needs is a chance to start playing in a game in Eliminatórias in Brazil.
