With permission from Geneva, making light of our opposition's discipline problem. That of course, is just the league picking on them! Of course, when Dom Kinnear says his player deserved a red card, you know multi-games are coming down.

Anyway that's LA Galaxy versus Ricardo Clark and the Boot 2 the Head Boys. Immediately thought that Ruiz was saying... "he booted me in the head!" Yes, turns out he missed.

In the tradition of Wayne Brady and Drew Carey, have some fun with the lyrics for some honest to goodness "Who's Line" points. Or just sing along.

    Yi yi yai yi....

    Ruiz talking in Espanol,
    Ruiz flopping in red,
    Ruiz pushing Robinson,
Give him a boot to the head!

Boot to the Head! Nah, nah...
Boot to the Head! Nah, nah...
Boot to the Head! Nah, nah...
Boot to the Head! Nah nah nah... Nah. Nah nah nah...

Midfielders who don't have my back,
    Forwards who can't think!
The linesman who won't leave me alone,
The trainer who forgot my drink!

Boot to the head! Nah, nah..
Boot to the head! Nah, nah..
Boot to the head! Nah, nah..
    BOOT... TO... THE... HEAD!!

If we pull this off and win another game on the road, this time against a higher-placed team like FC Pumpkin, they should just cancel the playoffs and schedule us for the final against DC United in RFKrumbling stadium.

Is there an official difference between DOUBTFUL and QUESTIONABLE?

Question: Would our playoff hopes end, if we lose to the Dynamo, or there still life?

If we can play Pete or Harmse from the QUESTIONABLE list, why arent we playing Xavier!

PS... so we wont have to watch Gordons "Pavon" impersonations anymore this season???

I believe there is still life after a loss assuming we win vs. Toronto, NY and Chicago. However pulling a point out of this match combined with a Rapids, Fire, and Crew loss would be a HUGE help.

Even if we lose we have to wait until the fat lady sings. A loss will allow the fat lady to get on stage.

FC Pumpkin! That's the season spirit, Topper. On another thread, maybe in the MLS forum, I saw our starting central midfield referred to as the All-Halloween team. :)

This is a huge game. We don't have Houston's quality, but maybe we'll continue to progress with our relatively tough defense, and get some good luck, and perhaps the Donovan/Glinton front line will start to gel. I am amazed at how much time Cobi has been able to give us, and he's not on the injured list, so with a whole week's rest he should have a good game.

I don't remember talking about this before, but Yallop put Jazic in midfield when he subbed him in, didn't he? Wonder who will start in D this week.

Let's see . . . in central mid we've got Nosferatu (vagenas) and Eddie Munster (tudela), and sometimes Donovan (aka The Invisible Man). That sounds about right!

But it's our front line that's truly scary. Pavon, Gordon, Buddle . . . that's about as frightening a group of zombies you'll find this side of a George Romero flick.

I suppose it's too much for us to hope that another team will choke in front of their biggest home crowd??

Not to worry guys, evrything is taken care of. I hacked into MLS' central computer and found this. It completely reassured me that we'd win on Sunday

[<"Hehehe, Joe Tiki-Man here, hired by high ranking MLS officials to put a hex on whoever LA is playing against. From hence forth, no matter who the Galaxy's opponents are, they will have their shots sail horribly wide, or teasingly hit against the woodwork. The enemies of the Galaxy will also spontaneously fly into berserker rages and collect red card after red card. Furthermore, the Galaxy will inflict spirit crushing last minute goals on their foes. Disillusioned by the loss, the opposing fans will not know what hit them and ask why? why? Why? WHY? Now you have the privilege of knowing why" Joe Tiki-Man>]

So, as you can see, we have nothing to worry about

I thought he put Jazic at left back and moved Klein up into midfield.

Hello everyone, im new to this board so i wanted to introduce myself exclusively to my fellow galaxy fans. this is the only legit looking soccer forum i found so i look forward to conversing with you guys. first off, i hope we dont start pavon and go with glinton, because frankly, pavon is pathetic and doesn't know how to make a run.

    Welcome aboard!!

We will win this game. I will be there!! I will bring good karma - like in Dallas for the SuperLiga game and We Will Win. [This time I'll do a little better on bringing it for the defense, though. ]

Put Jazic at left back, Randolph at left wing, Martino at A-mid and Glinton/Donovan at forward.

    They'll never see it coming.

That's what I would have expected, but every time they showed them, it seemed like Jazic was more forward. The camera selections seemed like they were on extreme closeup throughout the game & it was tough to get an overview of the action. And Jazic wasn't on very long.
