    thank you, Dr. Phonics.

as for the game...it looks like Hammarby switched goalkeepers at halftime. Obese, do you know why they did that?

Sure, Erland Hellström injured his right shinbone so we are now playing with our third goalie George Moussan.

Game is not really entertaining and second half just started.

Hammarby is really, really bad today. CD hasn't performed anything so far but considering the team effort you can't really expect much. The answer must be that everyone's fully focusing on Thursdays game against Braga.

That must be the answer! There is no other explanation. ;)

Well, I hope Charlie got the message and is taking it easy, too. Wouldn't want him to break a sweat. Big game on Thursday ...

I was wondering if Charlie has scored a league goal yet or any goal for that matter for his club?

Charlie scored a goal during UEFA Cup qualifying. That is his only official goal with Hammarby at this time.

Thanks! I hope he gets on track soon. When is the Swedish season over or is it in line with the rest of Europe?

The Swedish Allsvenskan is 23 games into the season. It's roughly on schedule with MLS actually in terms of seasonal schedule. There are 14 teams in the top flight, so I'm gonna figure there are 27 games total. Hammarby are currently sitting in 7th. Just for some perspective, Goteborg were in 3rd, but are now tied with Djurgarden for 1st on points.

The final today is 0-3 to Goteborg. Hammarby had 3 forwards in the entire second half and managed 1 shot on target.

Forget this one. On to UEFA and Braga!

    26.

So, the season will soon be over.

But I'd like to see comments from Lorelei. Or from Rory.

Yeah, 26 is correct. Our last game in Allsvenskan -07 is against GAIS at home and will be played 28th October. Then, if we get to at least a fourth place, Royal League will probably be played during the winter. And of course, we're still hoping for the UEFA cup group stage... (nervous already)

About this game against IFK Göteborg... I don't really know what to write. It was just terrible. It became almost like a parody with an own goal, injuries, the referee, the bad performance from Hammarby. About Charlie? Well, he got us a free kick at the end of the game from a good spot. That's about all I can say, I'm still a bit bitter.

Looks like American Soccer Daily was at the game. A match report can be found at http://www.americansoccerdaily.com/matchreports/ifkhif011007.htm

Sounds like Davies was a bit miffed at his teammates...

Is anyone keeping an eye on today's game?

I'm listening to a portugese guy, and I have no idea what he's saying. Unfortunately, there's no chance to see the game if you're not in Portugal.

We still just need one goal to tie on aggregate and stay alive (for extra time and PKs).

    Any sign of Davies yet?
