Does anyone know why Burnley have a bumble bee in their club emblem? Or about any of the symbolism of their emblem in general? It's quite a busy thing I have to say...

You have virtually answered the question yourself. As you may know Burnley is an cotton mill town, and one of the worlds oldest clubs, the bee comes from two sources and there is debate as to whether it is one the other or both
    1) To emphasise that Burnley is a 'busy' town
    2) An end of the stadium was known as 'Bee Hole' when it was founded.

The club has two mascots Bertie & Bumble Bee.
