amazing, im so happy for him and valencia.

Hes one of the best midfield prospects in the world, and you will love him i promise.

Centre midfielder like Essien look a like, but alot more offensive skill and technique.

    How does your lineup look,

    Abelda-Baraja in centre midfield??

edu and sunny also are there though.

Good luck to you this season and Manelele, I hope he does amazing for your club.

Wow, this was out of the blue!

He was on loan at Everton in the Premiership last season and he seemed fairly good, he could prove to be a good signing.

    Hes a central midfielder.

To use his full array of talents just play him as a box to box midfielder to run midfield and connect defense to the attack.

He can defend very well...motm vs villareal in the cl where he had riquelme in his pocket and scored a wonder goal..and also vs liverpool twice where gerrard and xabi were nullified by him..and gerrard gave him his jersey after rejecting 5/6 other benfica players as he ran after manelele.

I'll wait to see how he does before bigging him up further, as I pray to God he doesnt flop.

He has so much potential and talent...imho should be starting on our national team.

Hes had two steady games vs Valladolid and Betis. Consistently decent without being great.

Which is perfectly good at this point in time. Everyone will improve as time goes on, this squad has too much quality for any other outcome.

Where exactly is he situated in the midfield? Is he playing more defensively or offensively?

hes playing more central, not too offensive, not too defensive. He just finds sapce in the middle of the field and tries to control alot of the passess.

Ah I see. He is pretty good at passing in hard spaces. Good with both feet. Has he attempted any shots or gotten into consistent shooting positions?

Yeh he had a good crack at goal against Valladolid, but for now i think hes just trying to play simple games to show QSF that despite being at a young age, he can control alot of the teams play. Also he has been used more to show off his strength ability and bully other central midfielders off the ball.
