I need to do a homework, where I have to include som math problems, do you guys know how to add math equations in Microsoft word 2007?
I'm not very familiar with excel. Its for a statistics class from sociology. The fycking teacher wants everything typed and at the same time he wants us to show show the steps of the formula, along with the answer in a sentence.
Sorry DG10. But, for stats, yep, Excel is the best way to go. You can always create the formulas in Excel, plug in the numbers, design the spread sheet, and copy the cell you want in MS Word. Cut and Paste. The final product in MS Word will be the exact copy (numbers and "style" of the cells). You can move the cells anywhere in your MS Word page.
I dont know man. that's too confusing. I tried opening an excel window in the document, but i didn't like it so, I tried to close it, but i didnt' know how. some how the 2007 version is too confusing. anyway i closed the whole shyt, and re opened the document, and now its locked. i'm fycked. and its dude tomorrrow morning.
Use the Equation Editor; see it explained here! In fairness, however, I would not do final reports in MS Word unless it was a single page... anything longer than that I would complete with a page layout software; i.e., Adobe InDesign, with a plug-in equation editor; i.e., Mathtype. Far too many believe Microsoft Word is page layout software; it is not. MS Word is a simple word processor without much page utility. If your report is advanced with equations, I would use a page layout software to comlete it.
Now that you've turned it in, did you use those Word formulas? As for Excel, I love Excel and I'm an expert in it. If you have an Excel question, be sure to PM me, because I don't guarantee I'll see question here in a timely manner.
thanks, i'm at the beggining of the semeste so so we are not using extremely difficult formulas. I used the basic (*,/,) signs and the parentesis.
You can also just cut and paste from Excel into Word. You'll have Word table as a result. Sometimes the format doesn't look so hot, though.
My free trial of Microsoft Word 2007 expired, its asking me for a key. does any one have one? or know how to get it?
I dont have printer and the University uses Misocrosoft word, and I need the same software so it can be compatable. plus this one is already installed I just need to jack the key.
i'll try that, but i'm still open for anyone that wants to provide me with the key by the way, how much different is it from microsoft word?
It's free. All the programs are named differently. For example, Excel becomes Calc, while Word becomes Writer. While it looks a bit different on the surface, it operates fairly identically.
