We will probably scrape up a draw or win and be stuck with Tena another goddamned week. Oh well.

Since this is a home game, I wouldnt be surprised if they get another decent game and blow them out. Tigres hasnt played well at all and America for some reason only plays well, or atleast scores more, at home. I never want to see the team lose, so I'm a little conflicted about the Tena situation. The quickest way to get him out is a loss, but I dont want to see that. Also, who says the directivos make a good choice for his replacement? Lets just hope the team can focus on the important things and win the game.

Does Tena plan to rest Ochoa for the game? He played well tonight against Brazil and the defense is much improved with him between the post, but would Tena bench Ochoa this week to rest him?

Nah man, when we play at home against crap teams we win. The problem is that means this team is just an average team and nothing more. We should have picked up Baloy.

Villa and Kikin were catfighting each other in the box so the ref ejected both of them. Then Rodrigo Lopez was sent off for a hard challenge that shouldn't have been a red but a yellow. It was a rough sliding tackle but he was going for the ball.

At the very end of the match, America demonstrated some hustle, as if the players actually felt the weight of the greatest club jersey in Mexico.

I know Tena is not in a position to experiment, since his employment is in question; however, the team improved after the back line was reduced to three. That being said, without Villa as a DM, can the team afford to only have three defenders? Also, if the team only has three in the back, then I don't feel Castro would have a place in the line-up.

I understand we ALL expect greatness out of this team, but believe me replacing gaffers at this point would be a step in the wrong direction. The best we could do now is have an interim coach for the remaining matchdays and Sudamericana and the players, without leadership, will do whatever they wish on the pitch.

I'm ready for a new gaffer, but not until the end of the season.

I coompletely agree with what you said... We gotta stick it out this season no matter how bad it gets without a big-name coach. Once the season is over, we can start fresh in the clausura.

Tena is not the ideal coach for this team but there are players on the team that I think are falling short and their days are numbered with America. These players would be R. Rojas, I. Rodriguez, O. Rojas, Arguello, Davino. R. Rojas cuz he's too slow and old and same goes to Davino. O. Rojas has been so mediocre for about a year now and he just don't look like the same player he used to be. Arguello, he's come through sometimes but he's way too inconsistent and a non-factor in some games. I. Rodriguez is good enough to start for Puebla but that's it. Villa is still solid but he's also getting old.

We really miss Pardo too. Is it just me, or has More dropped his level lately? It's time for a new generation of players for this team and some new transfers. There needs to be a total renovation with this club either by the clausura or next Apertura. I'm still holding out hope for this team though this season, that we don't embarass ourselves by not qualifying to Liguilla.

No it's more like the dfenders from the other teams already know him, and he's not good enough to push him self to another level............

    Tena is still here?????
