Wow, i think AcesHigh took my ''white people'' comment way to seriously.

Then in his NSR thread he said that there is nothing different between a light skinned Brasilian and white person.

    Of course there is.

A Light skinned Brasilian is still Latino/Hispanic.

A white person to me and the rest of the world is a caucasian person.

    So im an idiot? Puhlease......

Its not that serious, im not racist i just thought it was a little weird since non of them knew what was going on, and if you read my later posts i say that i cant speak for the rest of stadium because obviously i wasnt sitting everywhere. In the section that i was sitting in there was alot of Caucasians whom didnt know WTF was going on.

Stop trying to make this seem like all Mexicans hate white people.

Next time read the rest of the thread.

Im tired of seeing the ESPN Deportes Futbol pincante announcers always being so hard on the seleccion, pince David Faitlson n the rest...Excluding el Ruso bravlosky, always talking negatives about it, when in this game there was more positive then negatives, excluding the results. Pisses me off, give them a break, it was a spectacular entertaining game, just ask anybody who really truly knows good soccer.

    Please drop the white/latino bull.

I'm sure there were bandwagoners but believe me, 90% of those dressed in yellow were Brazilian.

I just wanted to stop by and compliment you guys on the game. Ochoa is insane and should be your starter. Rafa Marquez, despite the late mistake, was an exceptional defender as usual for Mexico. Guardado is class.

All in all a fun game to watch and I hope you all enjoyed it too, despite the scoreline.

I agree, I don't know why people keep bashing Rafa. If you go back and looks at all the advances he stopped and balls he cleared you can see he did well. People were talking about his crosses, they were right on target its just that the Brazilian defenders are so good (and tall) that they could step in and intercept. He had one mistake and it cost us. It has been mentioned that he was doing double duty and covering that ball. He either misjudged the ball or it curved and hit his knee by mistake. It was unfortunate that it landed right where it did. Ochoa needs to go to Europe. Now. He needs to get as much experience before the WC as he can.

I didn't see the US game, which team do you think gave Brazil more trouble?

I say mexico gave us more trouble; it always tough to beat you guys and that what I like about mexico never make it easy for your opponents.

ya i remember in the U.S. vs Brazil game, Brazil (mainly ronbinho) was schooling the US. defenders made them look like Klutz. US. showed to Much respect and fear towards brazil and when a team does that, they end up getting schooled. Mexico shows the Respects but at the sametime are confident withselves, and comes to play good soccer just like brazil for all the people that payed good money 4 ticket.

Mexican players know how to keep possession of the ball and aren't afraid to possess the ball -- I am a USNAT fan BTW. The US players are improving in a hurry though. Probably another ten years to be world class.

Yeah, what is it out of 8 games Brasil has only one 2?

Brasil looked great on Wed. Beautiful football. The error killed us, but we hung in there.

Ya i think we are both improving, both are coming up with young future world class players...case of Gio dos santos and Adu, etc. At one point i n my lifetime i expect to see the U.S. and MEx to be one of the real best in the world, Being that Now in days soccer level is getting more Equal as years pass by.

I love playing Brazil, it always brings out the best in us. Now we have learn how to play well vs. Argentina :( Brazil looked like top form yesterday, especially the defense. Only error they had was the one they got scored on. Get rid of Wagner Love though, he made every attack break down when it got to him. Other then that the others were all great.
Also was it just me or was it weird to see Brazil do the counter attack?? At the end of the game when Mexico made the subs and was putting everyone forward the third gol was from a counter play. Was it just that we had pushed the players back or were they playing that on purpose?

The world cup in Germany '06 was exciting for the people in Nicaragua which is weird cuz futbol is not that big there. Mexico and Brasil were everyone's favorites. The hated teams were Costa Rica and the USA.
