Another huge game this weekend with major Superliga qualification and playoff seeding implications. That and it would be nice to get in these guys heads a bit before the Open Cup final. That being said I'll take a point.

We actually have 4 or 5 Inferno going to this one. They'll probably be on the end opposite of the Fort so lookout for them and go stand with them!

if Morrow uses any secret hand signals, he'd better change them around for this match.

I never have a good feeling when we go to the Boston area. Who could forget not only losing the lead but also losing in stoppage time back in '05. Last year we didn't even see the game because it wasn't on TV but we lost 1-0.

I'll take a draw and then a win on October 3rd.

68,000 fans at the Brazil-Mexico game last night. Let's say about 40k were Brazil fans (being very conservative here). Out of 40k Brazilian fans, how many of those fans do we think will come back out to see Denilson this weekend? Have the Revs taken advantage of the highest attended soccer game in Gilllette Stadium history (went beyond World Cup games) to cross promote the Dallas MLS game? Since USSF Director Sunil Gulati has input into (USSF owned) SUM (who scheduled the friendly in Foxboro) plus Gulati also works for the Revolution as their numbers guy - this Dallas game should be a good opportunity to see Gulati's marketing/promotion expertise no? How many Brazil fans will come out for this game?

Gillette Stadium didn't open until 2002.

The old Foxboro Stadium hosted the World Cup games and held 10,000 fewer people than Gillette Stadium.

...and was awesome, I was at two of those games.

Still vastly prefer Sullivan/Foxboro Stadium to Gillette.

Just realized (...im clueless) that this is a US Open Cup Final preview of sorts. The Revs pretty much blew us away last time in Dallas. We need to make sure we good to go for this one.

    O RLY?

As I recall it was 1-0 and the 3rd game in 8 days for us. Looking back at the stats we outshot them 19-14 and had the advantage on corners 8-2.

We never seem to beat these guys though.

Was it last season at their place when we pretty much played them off the field for ~87 minutes only to give up the terribly late equalizer.......and then another goal in stoppage? That game still breaks my heart - one of Ronnie O'Brien's best ever for us, imho.

I hope he plays -- he's "probable" officially, but "questionable," according to the following news article:

    http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/spt/stories/091307dnspofcdbriefs.2fe7ebe.html

If he doesn't play, will you ask for a refund? ;)

But, seriously, I hope you get to see him play! And I'd love to read your own game report afterwards. Have fun! Go Hoops!!

P.S. Good luck with the traffic this time.

    :)

95 won't be that bad on a Saturday night. On a weeknight, it's a friggin mess, and that's what got you caught in.
    Huh?

Patfan1 - Don't take offense - the crzdcolombian is, well, a little crazy in his posts sometimes. I was going to suggest he try tailgaiting with you guys - really the best way to avoid traffic :)

Man, I wish I could be there - drink one for me will you?

Am I the only one that thinks homefield advantage in the first round isn't really homefield advantage?

I'd much rather have game 2 in Dallas, than in Houston.

I'd rather miss the playoffs than play Houston in the first round. We know what will happen if we play a home-away series with them. :(
