(there, got it off my chest) We are playing decent soccer. Chivas is playing better. Plus, they have two strikers. ..... What happened to that Israeli kid we picked up?

Pavon just looks like he doesn't care that much... Galaxy simply does not have a dangerous striker...the kind of player that, when he has the ball, makes the other team lose confidence or panic that a goal is about to happen. Donovan is good, has real speed, but he can't be the sole forward that is capable of scoring..

Pavon and Gordon aren't guys who run at goal with the ball at their feet, so we have two strikers who are built for scoring goals with service from the width, and no players who can attack down the wings... Square peg, meet round hole.

I see a great deal of effort from him -- it's just not working, for TrickHog's reason and a general lack of rhythm/chemistry with his teammates. He's certainly not been a positive, but it's not from a lack of effort (imho).

In any case, one of those announcers mentioned that Chivas seems like they know and trust their teammates more than Galaxy does, and I think that's a really good point, as you were saying about the rhythm/chemistry thing.

I think Kyle Martino os the absolute worst at this...he gets the ball at his feet and then stops. To me, that's a sign of no confidence. ....aaasaand there's Pavon.
