Target Iran - Air Strikes

 

If we do bomb Iran what makes anyone think the violence will be limited to Iran. Were I Ahmid... I would have a few dozen squads in the US. They would be outfitted with Rat-Patrol SUVs, RPGs et al. When the first bomb fell on Iran they would put on formal military uniforms. After plastering their Escalades with Iranian military insignia they would attack the Great Lakes Naval Training center and a couple dozen other obscure, unwitting military installations. There is no end to the creative destruction several dozen guys in military uniforms could wreak. Any survivors would be POWs clearly covered by the Geneva Convention. When Bush attempted to treat them otherwise I would go straight to the UN.

I dont think our Civilian Command Structure has the wit or imagination to recognize the potential domestic havoc any more thqan they recognized the hell Iraq without Saddam would be. Or, perhaps they do and anarchy in the USA fits their hidden agenda.

 

My money is on October 18th for no particular reason. But I think they'll use the plan where we fly over Iran, pump fake them with a bombing, then bomb the shit out of Turkmenistan.

It serves two purposes:

One, it says to Iran "look what we can do" and "this could have been you".

And two, those ********ers wouldn't see that shit coming at all. Can you imagine the look on their faces? Comedy gold I tell ya!

 

March is not a bad guess, but I think it will be a later.

I'll say April 23rd. The primaries will already be decided and the election is still months away, so an Iran conflict would still have time to soothe before the election.

I was gonna go with Sept 3rd; the second to last day of the GOP convention, but Aug 28th would be far better way to overshadow the Dems nominee acceptance speech and perfectly set up the GOP convention.

 

Aww....there went my 'unique' pick. I'll go with August 25th, at the beginning of the Democratic National Convention.

Well, the first time, yes. But then I believe he will declare that day a national holiday to be celebrated by bombing Iran annually on October 18th.
















And yes, I'm being sarcastic about this. But not about the Turkmenistan thing, I still think that would be funny.

 

This is a macabre poll if I ever saw one. I seem to remember that the rainy season starts in Oct. and goes to about Mar. in Iran with most of it falling between Jan. and Feb. I’ll pick 14 Jan 08 with a premature “Mission Accomplished” speech to follow on 1 May ’08.

BTW I have nothing against Iran or her people and I certainly don’t want to see their country bombed. I am convinced Bush and his allies are going to do it, however.
