In the recent U.S, Open Cup (final still to be played) I believe six U.S.L. teams had victories over M.L.S. teams and two of them made it to the semi finals. Quite a few of the regular games get on T.V. and are worth watching.
I think it is a breeding ground for future M.L.S. players and I expect Mo is keeping an eye out for future recruits.

They did, indeed. The Carolina RailHawks and Seattle Sounders even took them to extra time in both semis before falling.

I usually watch a USL-1 match on USLlive when I get the chance to. Not a bad brand of soccer.

You can sometimes also watch the Impact on the French language TV stations.

Unfortunately the Lynx were not and are not on TV very often.

I watched them for three years at Varsity and Centennial and gave up on them. They are no longer in the U.S,L of course.

Well, yeah, they are, sort of. You're thinking of the USL First Division, which they are indeed no longer part of. They're part of the PDL, or Premier Development League, now.

The USL-D1 is decent soccer. Historically, they win about 25% of USOC matches against MLS teams (although this year it was 40%).

Speaking of the Lynx, specifically, you could make a very good team from players that passed through that organization at one point or another. Their list of noteable alumni includes (but is not limited to) Dwayne De Rosario, Pat Onstad, Chris Pozniak, Adrian Serioux, and Paul Stalteri.
