Very glad to hear Denilson and Ricardinho are forming a tight bond... hopefully he can rub off some of his foot-magic and make Ricardinho an even more valuable asset! Check out the article!
Question/"mission" for 3rd Degree . . . Where's Saragosa? I wondered as I read the article what he thinks about having Denilson around . . . But Saragosa seems to have disappeared; there hasn't been any mention of if/when he's having his surgery, he's not at practices (that I can tell, but Mina has been out), and he was not on the "injury report" for the last game (now, that could just be a mistake -- they left Toja off when he was out). What's the deal??? I'm not a suspicious type, but this is starting to seem "weird" to me.
I don't think you get on the "Injured List" when you're on season ending IR since there's no way for you to play anyways. I'm sure he's getting some time off, the 3 Brazilians will be back in '08.
Didn't the orginial new release (or whatever) state that he would be having the surgery in a couple of weeks? Whatever is going on, good or bad, I hope that Saragosa is comfortable with this deal and is getting what he needs. I still think it odd that the FO hasn't bother to mention the situtation. It's not necessarily that I'm a big fan of Saragosa -- he had his ups and downs, so I'm rather neutral on him as a player -- but parts of the Denilson deal bother me -- just a bit. Hope I'm worrying about nothing and I hope that the team can get in sync with their new superstar. I do like his moves.
Did you happen to see MX-BR game? The amount of Brazlian people packed into Foxboro was amazing. If there are that many Brazilians in Boston, the Rev's screwed up by not signing Denilson. I'm curious to see how our Brazilian Bro's will impact attendance at the upcomming game.
Saragosa Off to Brazil for Second Opinion Midfielder hopes to return quickly to support teammates. September 13th, 2007 . By: Buzz Carrick http://www.3rddegree.net/
"Denilson has been with FC Dallas for less than a month and already has had a positive influence on Ricardinho. They are the only Brazilians currently with FC Dallas. Marcelo Saragosa, another Brazilian member of the team, flew home after he was placed on the injury list because of a bad right knee. FC Dallas hopes that with time, that bonding between countrymen will speed up Ricardinho's development as a player." Glad to see they are clicking. http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/spt/stories/091507dnspofcdallas.2686ad2.html
