I'd go with tape. It also prevents the tongue from shifting to the side.

i've been wearing Copas for a long time and i find this way to be the best and unlike tape you don't have to worry about damaging the boot when peeling off the tape. I also put the tongue under the last set of holes so that the laces cross once after the tongue (i don't know if i explained that well enough), this causes the tongue to crease better.

Kristine Lilly's custom boots for the WWC. All the proceeds go to the Special Olympics, it's a Eurosport exclusive.

She designed them apparently. To me it looks like someone in the Special Olympics designed them, or Ronald McDonald...

For those of you who don't know who Kristine Lilly is, she's the most capped player, male or female ever, over 300 caps as well as the only person, again male or female, to play in 5 World Cups.

Seriously tho, £90 a pop and the profit going to charity, only made 100 pairs....

If they selling them at 200% markup they only gonna make 6k for charity, given the efforts involved in getting a new colorway out etc it'd have been easier for adidas to give that cake to the charity! Sure it not like she becks with the yin-yangs, but surely they could/should go for more!!!

well the first link ain't working but the last 2 are different colorways, and generally speaking what is seen here isn't out of the ordinary, the older (middle link) colorway has been reduced whilst the newer (3rd link) is still at rrp. Yea it's the same boot just one color has been kicking around for a while longer and thus isn't as valuable by demand anymore....ie they're selling it cheap to get rid of it to make room for the newer models!

1st link doesn't work. They're essentially the same boot, but the 2nd one is microfiber and, like case said, older. The 3rd one is full grain leather, and newer.

The second 1 being synthetic is the main difference(3rd is leather)! Go 4 which ever 1 you feel like!

Not much, apart from the fact they look very, very fake. Wrong tags, colorway doesn't exist, the lines down the middle are bent...They don't even have the right heel counter :p

Predator Power available now!!At my local store.

"SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE" wrote on inside boot(but i'm still see the price label at the outside:D lol 200USD).

In the picture,The white pred is wide fit version.

The leather is very soft(same Prededator absolute).

Material of power pulse looks like the metal powder, when i slope the boot in one side the powder will flow to that side.

The rubber for Predator element like in predator pulse version,So sticky.

The stud configuration(actually it's blade) like mania predator.

Three strip at both side of boot still are the plastic,Adidas still use plastic for predator at the middle part.

My conclusion,The power is the greatest predator certainly.
    It's nice...it's light(Lightest in the predator range)...

    World class boot...:)

if these are for sale then they are fake
but adidas makes a prototype between newer and older versions of predators and give them to pros to test them out
as you can see it is a mix of absolutes and pulses

The thing is, they don't even have the adidas sample tags on, they have "adidas EQUIPMENT" tags on which are far too old skool.

Yesterday Podolski was wearing the F50.8 (promo) in the german national team. Because of the white socks the transparent part of the boots is good to see...

I don't understand why Adidas would go to the trouble of making a black boot, and then not make the plastic black? If they really wanted to hide it, why would they leave it like it is?

A little off the topic, but does anybody know which Adidas shinguards Podolski is wearing? Are they the Twin Flex?

Why would the new preds be on sale even before the pro's re wearing them? Surely they will want a big launch day both in Europe the the Americas.
