Show beckham, pelé and beckemabauer and a interview with fellhaber that say is supporters of Botafogo. they compare the number of americans that play outside EUA and the difficult of make a strong league with that exodus. in the end they show the 2 goals scored by emilion and the goal that chivas score, with some humour.

I wouldn't hold that against Benny. When I was watching USA vs Brazil in the U-20 World Cup, they showed the Brazilian fans just standing there not singing. I don't think most of your own fans know the words to your anthem Thanks for the info though. Good win for you today.
at the U20 world cup, those weren't Brazilian Brazil fans. Many of them were Canadien/US/Latino/Other Brazil fans - in essence, they were GLORY HUNTERS. My take is, yes it's fun and cool to be a fan of a really good soccer team, that plays entertaining styles; however, sometimes people need to just sack up, grow some balls, and support their own teams irregardless of results.
in brazil a lot of people don't have basic education, its a shame for us as a nation, and much people can't sing even our national anthem. most of brazilians in U20 world cup was brazilians residents in Canada because ins't a tradition follow youth competitions here. these people know how to sing. probably people in crowd was Glory hunters. greetings.

well, one way or the other, the brazilian national anthemn lyrics are VERY complicated. Its full of 19th century words that NO ONE uses anymore... the words are in reverse order in the sentences of how they would normally be said. Created by intellectuals FOR intellectuals, not common people. Yeah, I'm going to have to disagree with you there. It's sung at EVERY SINGLE sporting event in the United States and you learn it in grade school. The average American has probably heard it more than 100 times in their lifetime. You would have to be mentally challenged to not remember the words.
Go try it -- go to you local post office and ask 10 random people if they know all the words to the national anthem. I bet only one or two would be able to repeat all the words by heart. It's a long song, full of archaic vocabulary. It's not easy to remember, no matter how many times you hear it.
I am afraid I agree with you. Once people get past "Oh say can you see...." they get lost. While it is sung at virtually every sporting event, plus at school and other public activities, a good percentage of people really don't know all of the words. Plus, singing it in a group is much, much easier than by yourself.
