Hey, I know this isn't even soccer related, but is anyone going to be following the USA's progress in the RWC this month? I'll be heading to Baker Street to watch them take on England at 12:30 this Sunday. I know things probably look as bleak as ever for them, but I still think it'll be really interesting to see. If you thought soccer was still in its development in this country, Rugby just popped out of the womb . . well, not really, but it seems like it. Anyway, if anyone is going gimme a shout. http://www.rugbyworldcup.com/ http://www.usarugby.org/default.asp http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_national_rugby_union_team http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Rugby_World_Cup
Nah, he's got a PR position with the company that runs the USA Sevens tournament. At least that was the last I heard of him. Most of the guys actually play on the USA Super League . . one guy plays for Leeds Carnegie in the Guinness Premiership in England, Mike MacDonald. I think he's the the only guy on the team playing on that level. I'm looking forward to this - they've qualified a few times for the World Cup, but the most they've achieved in any of their qualifications is one win.
Rugby World Cup 86 countries play Rugby & USA is #15? That's better than our FIFA ranking! I was surprised to see that Portugal qualified over Uruguay!
