(title should read: Steve Davis Strikes Back Against British Press. Mods, if you could fix, please?) http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story?id=461642&root=mls&cc=5901 Yes, I could have added this to the illustrious "Beckham to England" thread. But this article is not as much about Beckham as is about Steve Davis opening up a can of whoop-ass on the standard of journalism in England: A great read for anyone who's frustrated about crap that's written about MLS from across the pond.
Re: Steve Davis Back Against British Press: Beckham Rumors I heard Becks was going to be named the new GM for Chivas while also being a player for the Galaxy. If all goes well he'll become a player/GM/MLS commissioner after the 2009 season. is there anything can't do
Re: Steve Davis Back Against British Press: Beckham Rumors Don't take any notice of our press. They never let the truth stand in the way of a good story! They're a total pain, you've just got to take anything you read from them with a pinch of salt. We do.
Re: Steve Davis Back Against British Press: Beckham Rumors If he keeps this up, he'll be in Chuck Norris territory in no time!
Re: Steve Davis Back Against British Press: Beckham Rumors Chuck Norris tried to roundhouse kick David Beckham, then he got mobbed by media and fans.... It's going to take a little time.
Re: Steve Davis Back Against British Press: Beckham Rumors David Beckham's free kicks can divide by 0.
Re: Steve Davis Back Against British Press: Beckham Rumors Totally, its just the stupid sports people on ESPN in the US who take that type of story and run. They say see soccer sucks; he wants to go back it will never work here. Lalalala I cant see soccer etc. Just one more thing for them to jump on.
Re: Steve Davis Back Against British Press: Beckham Rumors That was a really good article by Steve. I am fast becoming a Steve Davis fan. Also the other article cited by Steve Wells was one of the best things I have read in a long time. Repped.
