From various sources, it seemed that IAF bombed an Iranian shipment in Syria. Of course Syria claims that IAF dropped some shipmetn as it was extra weight to escape the anti-air defense. I guess, we will never know.

As far as the rocket attack on IDF camp - so many injured and Israeli response will be weak as usual as long as that weakling Olmert is in power:mad:.
I guess, this was a New Year's present from their neighbors who wish to seek peace.
I guess, Israel is waiting for one rocket to hit a school and have tens of children die first before actually DOING something about them. Bunch of politically correct pansies.

    Attacks continue

    http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/meast/09/11/israel.syria/index.html
"The Syrian government said Israeli bombs were dropped on its territory and fuel tanks from Israeli jets were dropped on the Turkish side of the border."
    Possibly a 'fuel-air' device?

    Re: Attacks continue

...this is all while, according to a russian language news site, Olmet is preparing to withdraw to pre '67 borders and make East Jerusalem PA capital and he's is going with this plan to Washington in October.
Yes, give them everything - Israel is going down the drain if this to happen now.
    Oy Vey:(

Going back to pre-67 borders is a major blunder. Israel should not stand for it!

If Israel has to give back lands won in war, then the muslim nations must do the same. Oh wait, they haven't won any new lands in how many 100's of years?

the thing that frightens me is what happens when Hamas stops making home-made rockets and starts using more precise rockets?

I don't want to see Israel re-entering Gaza, but something must be done.

Those defenseless Palestinian rockets, who don't have any other means of fighting Israeli agression than by exploding themselves in hopes of killing at least some bat-fanged Zionists - who will ever save them?
Can I hear a European country proposing a UN resolution to condemn the Zionist ground for causing the demise of Palestinian freedom-fighting rockets?

I don’t think Israel really cares about the UN; they are continuing their illegal occupation as we speak. I know the UN passed many resolutions against the Israelis and they did not care. It’s not acceptable to have a country like Israel that has no respect for the international community.

Fcuk UN - bunch of no good, corrupt, racist, worthless bureacrats. I wish those hijackers flew into UN building.
Nobody cares about UN, except for Muslim world whom UN defends like no tomorrow. Maybe if UN condemned one single Palestinian attack without condeming Israel first, maybe then they can be taken seriously.

P.S. Last time I checked, Iran did not give a rat's ass about UN and interntational community when they are being asked to halt the nuclear program and to come clean - is it unacceptable to you to have a country like Iran as well?

Iran does respect the United Nations, we are part of the NPT and Israel is not and we are working closely with the IAEA. And the UN helped the creation of Israel, so why do you hate them so much? Israel should respect the United Nations and then they can earn their respect from the international community .

If I am an American that supports Israel, why do you think I hate UN? Is it:
    A) Because they are useless
    B) Biased towards Arabs
    C) Despise Israel and USA
    D) All of the above

Have you ever stopped and thought about why they might “despise” Israel and the United States? Invading countries like Iraq and taking over land and building more settlements are all against what the international community stands for . And like I said the UN has no bias towards Arabs , they helped create Israel in the first place .

they didn't do that to piss off the Arabs, so your assumption doesn't stand.

And the UN is not passing resolutions against Israel to piss off Jews; they are doing it because Israel is wrongful for their actions. And my point does stand , a member earlier made a comment that Israel has a biased towards Arabs , how could they be biased towards Arabs then they helped create Israel?

The international community has long been anti-Israel, anti-West and right out anti-semitic. WTF cares about international community, wtf did they do to deserve any respect?
I guees we should thank UN for allowing Jews to have home - it only took hundreds of years of pogroms, murder, purges, inquisition, exile and the Holocaust for international community to say, "OK." How kind of them...

How about blowing up kids in buses, cafes, pizzerias, discos, bakeries - is that ok with international community or is it only when an Israeli or American looks at someone else the wrong way that they get their panties all in a bunch?

Thank you for highjacking my post. I don't know why it surprises me though, an iranian highjacking something is as natural as can be.

    Re: attacks continue

This is in coincidence with a line from "The Constant Gardener", where one guy questions this MI6 spy and says "aren't you guys suppose to know everything"? and the MI6 spy replies, "Only God knows everything......and he works for Mossad.";)

    Rocket explosions

    http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,297361,00.html
"Jane's Defence Weekly said ... A Syrian military installation rocked by an explosion in July was being used to develop chemical weapons, and Iranian engineers were among those killed"
"according to Syria's state news agency, SANA ... the blast was caused when high summer temperatures set off high-explosive materials at a weapons depot."
"Jane's cited Syrian defense sources as saying the explosion took place during a test to fit a "Scud C" missile with a mustard-gas warhead."
Perhaps Israel had a hand in the explosion as well?

According to some on this forum, this is impossible and just a fake story from a Zionist perspective. Now I really wonder if what IAF did last week was destroy a Syrian nuclear facility of some sort...

"The magazine quoted Syrian opposition sources as backing up the claim that Iranians were at the site. They said vehicles destined for car-bomb attacks in Iraq were prepared at the same military camp under the supervision of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Syrian intelligence services."
Baathists & Shias cooperating. Hooda thunk it?
