It's the third most popular sport in Germany. Fräulein96 is probably the biggest hockey fan from Germany on here :D. I used to be more into it, but I'll still watch it when the world championships are on occassionally.

I consider myself a hockey fan as well...I have been known to attend DEG games now and then.

Not that the German league is comparable to say the Swedish, Czech or Russian leagues but the atmosphere is great.

yes i heard about these guys, and don't they just put things off beat???
    hahaha.
U-sector for me is best, they seem to have more experienced and multicultural influence...I was in both forums for a loooong time under Badnercalabrese...maybe you've seen me there...But i was the first one to post in both forums what the hell are people gonna do to the atmosphere because what we have in Canada is really an absolute joke...the RPB wanted the ENGLISH style...U sector was more diverse with a european sound...RPB didn't like ANYTHING that contained allez allez or shalalala...They prererred their typical boring english drinking songs (some are fun, but some have no excitement or motivational factor) at one point it seemed both groups learned the hard way those songs really suck, and if you keep it a bit more simple...it sounds A LOT better.

i haven't been there for many months, so really i have no idea what it's looking like now.

oh and i also suggested the eintracht pipi langstrumph song long ago...in fact that was the first song i suggested i think :D
    of course it didn't fly.

    anyways cheers mate

PS...not sure which one it was in humber...i think north, it was their first year so would it make a difference? haha

@uwe....of course you are, Vater :p

lol, ya, Lakeshore just started up a few years ago, and is rather small, that's where I went.

Tribal Rhythm Nation has been shut up lately becuz no one likes them, the only time they played was that one game where we were getting blown out and everyone left early, so they started playing cuz most ppl werent there to tell them to "fock off". Otherwise they just go along with everyone else, or just shut up becuz they are getting paid to watch footy.

I personally don't like the "TFC Massive" the french cheer we stole from Lens. for one point, less than 1% of us speak French, and second: MLS should be expanding to Montreal shortly, so that's where all the French support will be. what are we gonna say "ya, ummmm... we used to be French cheerers" But give them credit, it is the first year.

Mamma mia, what a hell of an atmosphere!

However, I doubt that you have this kind of support in every home game...;)

Of course not, but naturally things are different when you're about to become champion :)

I would say that this is what the atmosphere is like on most "big" home games though, say like when Bayern, Bremen or Schalke come to town. In the Champions League, it'll prolly be the same as well, and same for when KSC will visit in the Rueckrunde.

It seems that your home atmosphere has improved a lot lately! Kudos!

When I remember back a certain game at Gottfried Daimler stadium against Borussia 3 years ago ... mamma mia, that was a real away game for you! ;)

The scene here has been improving consistently over the last few years, i'd say we are now quite underrated in terms of fan scenes.

Obviously the recent successes help the atmosphere's improvement a lot too, we'll see whether we can keep up the developments if we go through a bad patch again.

Don't think so, since you have one of the best Ultras scenes in the Bundesliga! Keep up this good work!

yeah it hurts me to say how well the atmosphere in Stuttgart has gotten over the last couple years...I remember people (from teams all over) always told me stories how it was such a joke in that stadium..we always laughed and now it's better than us

    :D

Dude, now metter how bad the atmosphere has ever been in Stuttgart (which I personally dont think it was, in my eyes stuttgart has always been kinda average and could be much better with another stadium)... it was certainly always better then Freiburg...
