LA doesn't think it is dead yet after watching their last game. Hopefully they come out and steal three points in the midweek game then drop three on Sunday.

And they did it without Landon - here's their lineup from the official game report:

The Galaxy have some good players, the problem is that they kept adding and trading off players on the team with no consistent line up. Tyrone Marshall and Chris (Right Back whose last name escapes me) was a huge part of the defense.

Abel Xavier, Becks and Pavon were supposed to be the spine of this team. Abel and Pavon are Delivering and Becks is not.

Vagenas played that central midfield role last weekend he is just not that strong a player IMO.

The question will be how they use Vagenas now that Landon is back. My Guess is they use Gordon and Pavon on top with Buddle and Glinton as subs. Will Vagenas be paired with Landon as a defensive Midfielder or Harmse? Yallop has to keep Cobi and Martino in the wide midfield. Pavon, Gordon, and Buddle will be in the mix up top.

Cobi or Chris Klien against Corey will be key. I hope Corey has his "A" game. Corey may be able to handle Cobi better than Jaqua just due to his quickness. Jaqua would be a better bet against Klein.

Landon versus Rico. The most dangerous moments will be when Landon gets the ball when Rico is caught making a foray upfield on offense. Lando will get a couple of chances, let's hope he's off target.

Martino versus Mullan and DeRo versus Martino = we should be OK there.

Ngwenya and Jaqua or Ching versus LA backline. There should be some breakdowns we can exploit, we just have to finish the few opportunities we get.

Pavon and Buddle versus the Dynamo backline - Pavon will get a look or two, we have to hope that he is off target or that Pat is Superman.

Referees: we seem to have bad luck with this at the HDC.

Dom will scout this team and come up with a good game plan, let's hope we can get some points!

    GOOD LUCK AND DALE DYNAMO!

I believe L.A. has a worse team than when they played us to a draw early this season(first game?). So I say we score four on them too, but with no three goals in the back of our net this time.

Chris Albright wasn't traded, he's been out with a hamstring injury since the first Superclasico (yeah, I said it!) against the Goats in May - Jaqua started for LA in that game, BTW.

Landon has been played on the right a lot this year, much to the dismay of LA fans who want to see him up top. The good news for the Dynamo is that Vagenas will almost certainly be on the field in some role (believe it or not, quite possibly attacking midfield), so the probability is there for an own goal or horrible giveaway leading to a goal.

Cobi has a lot of problems with his heels, can't practice consistently and is not an everyday starter anymore. Re Sun, it depends on how much he plays on Thu against the Goats in the last Superclasico (yeah, I said it again!) of the season.

Klein has played most of the time at right back since coming to LA, don't expect to see him at right midfield.

Also, Buddle hurt himself while scoring against Colorado, which probably means Gordon and Pavon at forward, though I thought Pavon was also struggling w/an injury (he was able to sub in for Buddle on Sat).

"online at MLSLive.tv" thank you, thank you, thank you! Missed the last two home matches so be good to see another match live again.

LAG certainly seem to be unpredictable. Though maybe they were predictable in that they were consistently poor.

Maybe another high scoring game 2-3 to Dynamo!

If we don't win this game, I'll consider 1st in the West to be at serious risk. We pretty much have to beat LA twice and RSL away if we want to finish top in the west. Dallas and Chivas both have some tough games on their schedule. Moreover, we play each of them one more time and they play each other once as well. We can finish first in the West but I think we have to get 9 points out of the games that aren't with either team.

Oh and I accidentally voted for RSL win last week even though I meant to vote for a draw. Therefore, until further notice, I will be voting for the opponent to win in the remaining polls. You stick with what works.

I Second Vote on it!!! Now that the "Great Beckham" is hurt they don't really have a team... I mean just because they have a couple of good players doesn't mean that they have a great team.

I really think the BEST Soccer team in MLS is The Houston Dynamo!!!!
    Orange Forever!!!!:D

My wife has even gotten fired up over this one. We hit Soccer 4 All on Sunday to get her a jersey and we ended up picking up a 3x5 Dynamo flag as well.

Don't know what else to say... we need three points here.

My wife is on the rampage about this game as well. She only wished Becks was playing so E. Rob and Waibel could give him a proper welcome to the MLS. Nothing like a double wammy from our guys in orange.:D. Anyone know who we will have back from injuries for this game??

Braveheart back? Sweet. I guess he don't get no PT unless we're up by a few goals because as I see the forward pecking order: Ching, Ngwenya, Jaqua, Braveheart and somewhere is Wondo. So, if Ngwenya and Jaqua start, due to Ching injury and just coming back, I see Ching coming in for Jaqua or maybe even starting for Jaqua (which, then Jaqua would sub in for Ching unless we have a big goal advantage). I don't see The Dom throwing in Braveheart immediately unless we got the game in the bag. Thoughts?

I think we will see Ching start or not play at all. If he is fit, Ching seems to do better as a starter. I know he has subbed in occasionally but he does better if he is out there right at the start to be the target guy and get the offense flowing the way Dom likes.

Dalglish, on the other hand, might see some time as a sub depending on the game situation. Dalglish is much more of a change-of-pace kind of guy and works less as part of our normal attack.

This is a tricky situation since we really need to win this game but we also have a bye next week and not that many games left in the season. Dom may want to see what he has with Dalglish and whether or not he will be a key part of the attack in the last month. We are running out of time to find that out. Dom knows what he has with Ching.

I think we will see Ching or Jaqua and Ngwenya to start and then Dalglish off the bench in the second half.

On Goltv's Soccer America program tonight, the panelist discussed how LAG are now the spoilers for those looking to finish at the top of the conference or to slide into the play offs. The pressure is off of them with Becks gone and no chance of making it into the playoffs. The guys are actually playing better now.

Our concern , is to go in with a casual attitude and let this game slip away.LAG can be very dangerous on counterattack. I hope Dalglish doesn't start. I would rather see Jaqua or Ingwenya up front with Ching.

We should be treating every game like a playoff game. I say that because we have tended to play very flat against "not good" teams. Home field advantage is absolutely crucial in the playoffs and we need to make sure we get that number 1 spot in the West. Plus beating Dallas and Chivas will give me a lot of personal satisfaction as well.
