2nd half has kicked off. First minute looks like we might be in for more of the same. However, it looks like the rain has stopped. Or at least that you can't see it on the camera.

I'd be suprised if he's protected for the expansion draft.

Pickens was challenged. Thomas' shirt torn in a box melee after the punch save. Dirty screws.g

Gavin went down in the box. 2 Fire defenders scambled to save it. Robinson gets up lobbying that GAvin went down. No call. Goal kick Fire. Whew . .

Not much service today. Has 2 SOG's, one should have been a goal no doubt, the other was a header that was fantastically saved.

In other words, more of the same.

He was the foulee mostly. Had a good run that was spoiled in the first half. He would have been better off shooting rahter than passing.

62nd minute. Virtuoso dangerous run while our defense has broken down. Banner getting set to come on for ??
    Thomas gets a new jersey.

    Banner for Guiteriezz.

FK by Crew results in major scramble. Lucky not to go in.

CONDE long bomb to Wanchope who caught the defense sleeping.

    1 on 1 w/ keeper, Wancho wins.

    Wanchope didn't miss that one!

Long ball from Conde, Wanchope is on-side and behind everyone, and finishes.

    1-0 FIRE.

Gotta stop giving away free kicks in stupid areas!

A CR forward who buries it on a 1v1 with the keeper... when was the last time we saw that?? LOL Maybe he is the reflexive opposite of Herron (starts badly, gets better). WTG, Wancho.... keep it up, *please*.

Banner had a nice run down the left and served a decent ball for Wanchope. I reckon we are gonna get our chances on the counter.

Banner's speed makes him a much better option than Guti at this point. It's been years since Gutierrez could play left mid...

Kamara is Crew third and final sub, Thomas out.

Kamara will be C-bus' final sub. For Thomas.71st minute.

Fire throw in. but it goes back toward Pickens - like icing. . .

I agree. Diego is getting close to retirement from play.

    Barrett on for Wanchope.
