Rolfe with a weak shot. First time we held possession outsider their box for any significant time

The game is ugly, but the ref is calling it fairly. Hejduk just got a yellow. A lot of slipping from the wet turf and funny bounces in the box. Crew until this recent minutes have dominated poss.

I just signed up for the mlsnet.tv thing and anyone else noticing how crappy the quality is? It's like they're on analog as there's alot of static. Maybe rain screwing up their signal to the bird?

This is turning into an exciting game as the weather gets worse . . . now a weather delay.

The DK feed is getting the same quality. Lightening. They may end up clearing the stadium. They are trying to clear the fans off the seats. Weather delay.

We alwyas do well with weather delays.

It's not normally this bad, don't worry. It has to be the storm.

We almost got lucky with a lot of chances at the end there, but for most of the half we were not the better team. Hopefully we can come out and get the ball under control a bit more.

Pretty much all Columbus 'til the last 5 minutes where we had 3 solid chances to score.

Hopefully we stay hot when the game resumes.

After the lightning delay ends, I expect the crowd noise to be overwhelmingly S8 and Blanco fans.

Same thing happens when we've had lightening delays at home matches. The families and casual fans head home, while the hard core - me & my son, stick it out. :)

C-bus commentators are back on. Must be safe enough for the sportscasters.

Players back on the pitch. They'll get about 10 min to warm up then a restart. Jr. you're right just the hard core filtering back in.g

Thanks to everyone reporting on the game-
ComCast has every sport known to man on, FSC has Euro 2008 qualifiers, and shows like Sex Bunker, but no Fire (unless I want to pay for it!)

BTW, Blanco's ball that went for Wanchope's header was magical. No-look, turn around off of his left that bent right onto his forehead.

We've kicked off again. The game paused at 38:55 so not much time before the half.

1 min stopage for the 1st half. Game has still been choppy.

You talking about that passback after the restart that led to the passback that led to the passback that led to us being trapped in our own end and Matt having to dump it to Cbus?? Yeah, classic Pause. Oh well, he's gone next year. Between his patting the head of Houston players who convert PKs and doing their midfielders jobs for them (moving the ball deep into our own territory or giving it up to a MF or F), ya have to wonder if he is fishing for friends on opposing teams who might put in a good word for him after this season is over...
