Couldn't help laughing today. Mr Bush, talking at the APEC meeting in Australia, referred to it as OPEC.......twice. He then, whilst wanting to praise the Australian troops in Iraq, called them Austrians!!!! He never even noticed his mistake, Finally he lost his way on the stage and couldn't get off. Some kind gentleman helped him.:D

I guess it had something to do with him being upside down for too long. You can't help loving the man, can you?

And that after unilaterally ending the Korean war without telling the koreans.

"You can't help loving the man, can you?"

    Somehow I manage

Did you guys see the comedy team? They got through two check points, all in Canadian diplomatic flagged limo's. At the last check the police realised there was something wrong and arrested 14.

GW seems not to be with us unless hes reading a prepared speech.

You may as well be a Canadian, living so close to the border. But then again they don't give a damn about what you have to say either

Mate most of us on this board have been messaging to each other a few times a week. Whether its the weather, polotics, beer or music. In fact i consider these guys friends. When we are back home we will even meet up somtimes. So if we want to talk about our great team, or even Norwaytips playing the banjo. I don't think we are breaking any rules.

It wasn't meant to be political. I just found it extremely amusing. I don't get involved in politics where I live, so I'm certainly not interested in a political debate on the West Ham board.

Mind you, with no games this week, it could be fun. This is the silly season for us football nuts.:p

Longer holidays in the USA? Paid? He he. (Teachers already get far too much)

I live in a country that gives 5 weeks paid leave each year.
Where women get a year maternity leave, on full pay.
Where men get up to 3 months maternity leave on full pay.(During the first year)
Where you get 100% sick pay, including overtime earnings.
Where medical treatment is all free, or nearly free.

It still has a productivity rate that is up there with the best of them ....... and I'm still not a socialist.:D

Most people in Europe believe that there are two political parties in the USA.
    1. The far right and
    2. The very far right.

Bat my friend, that was a photo from Japan. I, as you may guess from my name, am living in Norway.
Yeah, I know that they kill whales too, but not as many as are killed in the tuna nets. I am very anti whaling, by the way, so please don't generalise.

Yeah, we saw bought that as a post card in the book store around the corner from Upton Park while in London.

It amused my wife and I even though we are deep in the red states.

LOL, you were talking up Norway and then I make one little comment and you throw your toys out of your pram. BTW, I will be in Sandefjord the following Monday. I will only be there one day though.

We really should consider George Bush an inspirational leader, after all, he is living proof that even a complete moron can become the most powerful man in the world.
