Totti wants to beat Man Utd 7-0, apparently.

read rumours that Beckham's gonna be loaned back to an EPL team this coming January transfer season, in order to allow him to play that last 3 games for England to join the Century Club.

of course assuming that he will be selected by McClaren and also assuming England doesnt lose to Israel and Russia otherwise it could be rather a sad spectacle.

If thats true what a slap in the face to MLS. Just a red-headed step child of a league. I have no respect for Beckham and his fairy dust lifestyle.

    Moving on....

How about Manchester City? Talk about overnight reversal of fortune. Damn...that team looks scary now.

With the results that they've had under MacAttack, you would imagine that they might struggle. A plethora of quality players at your disposal, but you can't drop 'superstars' (e.g. Fatty Frank). They'll have a good idea of where they stand after this week. Maybe playing both matches at Wembley for the international break will change their fortune though (also Heskey/Owen revival!)...England always seems to struggle in the qualification stages. I wouldn't be surprised if it took them until the next international break to qualify for Euro 2008.

Personally, I don't think they'll have an easy time with Israel or Russia. Both countries have been playing decently, and they would be happy with draws away from home.

Speaking of Russia, how long is the contractual agreement between Hiddink and the Russian FA? Is it until the next Euro, or the next World Cup?

Read the article on Leeds Disunited, from FourFourTwo's September edition. Shite almost made me cry.

Close to $10 over here in New York (I guess across the country since there's a flat US rate). But well worth the reading. That's one magazine that I read cover to cover and it's purely entertaining.

Have you ever read the Korean editions of FourFourTwo?

Yea, I buy mine every month.

I should've bought a copy of the Korean edition while I was in Korea earlier this summer. Is there a way to get a copy here in US?

I haven't checked inside the Korean edition if you can subscribe when you're outside of Korea. I got the Korean edition when I was in Korea about a month ago. It was the first time I saw FourFourTwo in a different language so it caught me a bit off guard. But it's interesting because while it contains most of the articles we see in the English version (interviews, etc), there are articles devoted to K-League topics and football in Korea. Knowing your passion for football in Korea, I thought that would be of interest to you. But I'll check if there is a way to subscribe outside.

On a different note. I wonder if it's simply cheaper to subscribe to the English version rather than pay that outlandish price each month.

$10? Christ. It's 6.800W here. I kinda wish they were more articles and gossip devoted to domestic or Asian football, rather than the European stuff, in the Korean edition. But then again, I'm not complaining because there arent that many places where they actually cover K3.

While were on the topic of magazines

I would recommend the magazine, "When Saturday Comes." It's one of the better football magazines available.

I just read that the North Korean women's soccer team tied the US women's soccer team 2-2. As far as I can tell, it didn't get ugly which is always nice to hear.

Don't the SK women look like men too? Someone posted a pic of the team and let's just say that it will be a cold day in hell before that pic ever pops up in the Korean Babes thread that Koreano maintains. :D
