Just wanted to post my "thank you" for the YA Gameday threads sub-forum. I think it will be a good addition here and make it a lot easier to keep track of all things YA.

Now if we could just get a dedicated Freddy Adu sub-forum . . .

Ditto. Thanks for being willing to give this a shot.

Next up I say we need a Dave Marino-Nachison sub-forum. With his info and research, he could keep it going by himself, let alone all the rest of us who appreciate his work.

Follow that with a golazo forum to make it easier to quote himself (ouch:D)

closely followed by an M & striker forum so they can keep us informed on how below the standard YA's are. (actually, they've improved recently. I actually saw a post that said something positive about a YA :D:D

Personally, I'm very disappointed the mods caved and gave in to the will of the people.

I prefer my BigSoccer experience to be mediated by a cabalistic executive committee of mods who rule by fiat and openly disdain any and all efforts to increase transparency. ;)

We sincerely tried to ignore the mob as best as possible. But suddenly, somebody nameless had to cave in like paper mache.

Does that someone's name rhyme with "Stark Fright"?

    Nice work.

When the thread gets too off game performance you can always slide it into the main forum.

Well, the nameless person is now basking in the glow of adoration of the masses. He/she can't help it if he/she needs approval....

In addition to thanking the mods, I would also like to say thanks to the thread starter for alerting my clueless ass to the fact that we have a new sub-forum. I can just picture me on Saturday morning pissing and moaning about the "lack" of pbp threads and then trying to pass it off as sarcasm once somebody points out the obvious, having to change my screen name for the shame of it, kicking my dog, puling into lethargy...

Huh - What a subforum for game day threads?

What fool agreed to allow such a thing to happen??
I guess what I suspected all along is true... DK can only survive by the admiration of the masses... not unlike how Tinkerbell would die if people don't believe in fairies but come back to life when people clapped. ;)

Lets see how this subforum works.
More importantly - I hope people realize there is actually a new subforum to house these game threads.

Well since BS is operating because of the masses, I would think that fufilling their needs. Enough people thought it necessary to create a sub forum, so I guess it only made sense to follow though on the suggestion.
