The Screaming Eagles have hotel and tourist info up on ourwebsite for MLS Cup weekend. Ticket info for supporters groups should be coming soon (waiting for MLS and DC United to pow wow later this week so hope to have next week). We're working on other activities for the weekend so as they become finalized we'll update the page. If you have any questions, give me a yell at kim@screaming-eagles.com K
Link? I went over to screaming-eagles.com but couldn't find the info. Never Mind, found it: http://screaming-eagles.com/?page_id=54
Or the MLSnet one (The Colorado skin is the default MLSnet one, since Colorado's website isn't on the MLSnet network).
We are working on an event where supporters can compete in teams using soccer skills. However, due to the lack of available fields in the DC area it will not be a traditional soccer tournament (we can't even pay to rent field space, that's how bad it is around here). As soon as the details are set we'll post the info. K
Sigh. "STRANGE game, the only WINNING MOVE is not to play" Sincerely, "the guy who's working on the War Games 25th Anniversary DVD"
First of all, mea culpa, I should have looked it up instead of going on memory from the last time I watched it (which was a few years ago). Second, seriously, a 25th Anniversary DVD? Sweet. When's the release?
Urgent MLS Supporters Hotel Update PLEASE NOTE HOTEL DEAL DEADLINE: The rooms we have a hold on in Crystal City will be released around midnight THIS Friday, October 19 (we've had them on hold since August). We have them for $119 a night, if you check the prices on the Marriott website without our group code they're showing at $409 a night (so you can see why Marriott is anxious to sell them at the higher rate). There are at least 3 Marriotts in Crystal City so use the link from our Website to get to the right one. If this place doesn't work for you, there are many other hotels in the D.C. metro area so use your regular internet travel sites. If you think you might come, go ahead and book some place now, you can always cancel if you give them notice. Registration for Supporters Activities is now open for people outside of the D.C. area. D.C. United supporters can register on Oct 29 (we want to give our guests a chance to register first). If people have any questions, feel free to contact me at kim@screaming-eagles.com K
