Sorry if there is a thread elsewhere and I just didn't see it... ...what's the best way to buy match tickets? My wife and I are going to be visiting London in May and would like to see the Aston Villa match. Thanks.
You probably will have to become a member to guarantee you get tickets. I think its like 30 quid, check on the website. Other than that you have to wait and hope they reach general sale. http://www.whufc.com/tickets/?page_id=4
It's the last home game of the season and a chance for us to welcome back our very popular former captain so it will be sold out as soon as tickets become available to club members so join up and apply as soon as they go on sale. The official site will have selling dates etc.
Signed up today...damned exchange rate! So, will the club publish before hand when the on-sale date is prior to the tickets being available, or will we wake up one morning and they'll be on-sale?
Even a two bob outfit like West Ham are not so sneaky as to put tickets on sale without telling people first! Commit this link to memory or you will be forever doomed http://www.whufc.com/tickets/?page_id=7402 I'm assuming overseas people can use the e ticketing system, if so I'd do a dry run to register your account and make sure you can log in OK if you want to book that way or you can always book over the phone if you know the number overseas people have to dial. https://eticketing.co.uk/whufc/default.aspx
Thanks! I really appreciate all your help! The club told me they post the on-sale date about 1 month prior on the website. I'm really excited to be at Upton Park!
At the end of each arm, a hand. One of which, will be holding up two fingers (Agincourt style) The other making that famous east end winker sign. I may have made a slight spelling mistake there. Both normal, east end, welcoming gestures. Normally reserved for family, or loved ones.
