I think that Ronaldinho should and will. He had a down year last year, but is still the best player in the world. Please post your ideas here.
Kaka and C Ronaldo will definitely both be rated up near Ronaldinho. Messi, one of my favorite players, will too I'm sure.
Kaka should get a 92, C.Ronaldo should get a 90, Ronaldinho a 91.....I hate seeing Rooney and Eto'o with 90ish ratngs...they dont deserve those kind of ratings
Well, in the 08 Demo, Kaka is a 90, Cristiano Ronaldo is a 91, and Ronaldinho is a 91. They made Messi an 85! Rooney is now an 89, and Anderson's face got redone. That's about the most interesting stuff I've noticed. I bet that Drogba's an 89 or 90, instead of an 84 now. Essien should be around there too.
Most definitely not Kaka, as he was not the best player over the course of last season. If he is it only serves to further highlight the idiocy of the game in question.
Alright, well, who do you think should be rated higer than the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year / Best Forward of the Year?
Great, yet another poster ignorantly trying to use awards to judge players... Not only that but an award for the only competition he performed well enough to justify all of this sudden praise he started to get around the time of the knockout stages. Totti - Another exceptional season C. Ronaldo - Best player over the course of last season (overall) After those two you can make arguments for and against the others around his level. Ronaldinho had a below par season but still posted superb figures. Rooney did not play well because of injury at the start of last season but he still finished with exceptional figures. Messi did very well in patches but was also injured. I would personally have Kaka sitting along with those players and just below the former duo.
Very good stuff, quality posting. But I'm not judging just on the awards. They are just a jumping off point. Contrary to what you may think, I do watch the games . Totti has a superb Serie A season and C. Ronaldo was spectacular. I still think Kaka was superior to them. Wacthing all of Milan's CL matches and a healty amount of the Serie A, he held that team together. His scoring was not superb in Italy, but his all around game was fantastic. Totti had more goals and assists in league play, true, but Kaka looked better all-around, IMO. Beyond his league form, noone looked anywhere near as good as him in the Champs League (Ronaldo was solid though). I would put Kaka #1, C. Ronaldo #2 and #3 is up in the air for me (Messi, the 'Dinho, Rooney, Drogba).
