http://www.3rddegree.net/2007/06/practice-observations-seeds/ " Instant Scouting Report: Abdus Ibrahim (just add water): Tall’ish lanky kid who needs to grow into his body a bit but is a great looking athlete. Really nice feet for such a young player and he can do some tricky stuff with both pegs. Usually plays on the left flank or up top, but can fill in creatively in the middle. Looks quick and has a good top end, more of a slasher type player than outright striker. Reads the game well for 15/16 years of age and has solid passing touch. I was quite impressed on first up close viewing of a very young player." He recently played in the U-17 World Cup to mixed reviews.
He's got his whole life ahead of him. [Madden]Abdus Ibrahim is Abdus Ibrahim, and he's going to do what he's going to do.[/Madden] More seriously (as if that will stave off the neg reps), I've never heard of the guy, so I can't imagine he's being held up as the heir apparent. Or maybe I missed that memo.
He didnt really show much in the u-17s, and that was against kids his age, so i wouldnt expect much from him for fcd for awhile....that said he is realllllly young so lets not really worry.
the FO already bitches about hold ups at the airport AI has some good skills and did show some good stuff at the U17 wc. He looked really good against Belgium.
Ibrahim's base salary is $50k with a bonus potential total of $83k Meanwhile Dominic Oduro is making 30k...Ray Burse making $17.7k...Pitch is making $30k
I believe he graduated in May. Which is when he same to Dallas for a short time before going to the 17s. He's believe he's like Kirk or Convey before, early graduation from Bradenton. But I will ask.
he's 16 with immense upsiade and signed Ga. all senior college players in their mid 20s without vast upside. College grads get nothing, they are quite lucky to get on the senior roster, which Both Oduro and Burse are, Pitch was moved back down earlier this year. Only Burse of the three has vast upside, a mid 20s field player has little room to grow in soccer terms.
Ok I checked. Ibbe graduated in May, no specific time line yet on him reporting full time. But I would expect it to be sooner rather than later.
a little. some off the bench, I think maybe one start but I would have to check to be sure as I didn't see all the games.
