I don't know about you guys but I love to speculate about how good young players are going to turn out.

So how good do you all see these chibolos turning out to be?

I'll go player by player cuz I'm bored.

Hermoza- As good as he is, he really needs to grow some. He's only 1.76 and needs to be at least 1.83 (Carvallo's height) to be NT worthy. I see him being better than Miranda or Delgado, but not as good as Forsyth or Penny. A good keeper but not good enough to go abroad.

Arce- This dude is good. I see him going abroad eventually. Maybe Argentina or Brazil. He's also going to be a regular on the NT.

Hernandez- He'll be on the NT too. He'll be like Villalta or Vilchez or Galliquio. A good defender that can step up as a starter on the NT occasionally.

Duarte- The next great defender. Will be at least as good as Rebosio, Rodriguez, Acasiete, maybe even better.

Munoz- Good, solid player that'll get called up every once in a while. He'll be like Ubillus or Portilla.

Salazar and Bazalar- I see them getting called up to the NT regularly and maybe going abroad for a few years. Like Ciurlizza, Rayner Torres or how Cruzado is now.

Correa- He's fast, plays with heart and has a good shot. He'll be about like Hidalgo, which isn't bad. I see him making it in France or the Netherlands or a small team in Spain if he gets on a good streak.

Avila- No one likes this chato but I think he's really good. Will be one of the better players in the Peruvian league for years and will go abroad every once in a while.

La Torre- The next Feo Cominges or Ysrael Zuniga. Good for the local league and will get called up a few times when he's in his prime.

Manco- After the qualifers Cubillas said he'll be better than him. I don't see that happening. He's the next Farfan or Solano in that he'll be the NT's star, will be loved by the fans of a European club but won't be a worldwide superstar either.

    1. Shouldn't this be called "The future of the Jotitas" then ?

    2. I agree with you about Manco, he's good and all, but he won't be WORLDWIDE good. Probably a little bit better than Pizarro or Farfan, maybe. But he'll still be one of the best players Peru has so far in this new generation.

    3. Hermoza is freaking awesome, look at his age and how much he has accomplished for his team, I disagree with the whole "He has to grow some" ... I think given a couple of years and hard-work/training like he has had so far, he'll be better than Forsyth.

I see Eder as Alianza's starting goalkeeper in a couple more years.

Pinto is a good keeper but he lacks the consistency needed to succeed at a club like Alianza.

But I would also like to see what Reyes (the best U-20 keeper in Peru) and Goyoneche have to offer.

    -hermoza isnt bad
-he has a great future, now its only pinto, and goyoneche, i think we can be alianza #2 gk in 2008 apertura, and if he continues like this he could be # o1 by the end of apertura, or beginning of clausura
-then height doesnt influence in a gk career, i know its a good help if you are tall, but remember jorge campos from mexico, or jonnie vegas, he wasnt bad back ythen in late 90's or beginning of 2000's, and i thnk he is 1.82

-arce replaced cuto zevallos, he fifnt do it bad, but i think he can be consider for the future, he can be called for future peruvian teams

-he isnt bad, he will be like pajuelo, or rebosio, someone that goes along a good and/or better center back, he isnt bad, has future too

he will be the next acasiete, reynoso, or sandro baylon,

not bad, he replaced socola real good

they arent bad, bazalar is more like a mixto mid, salazar improved a lot, we need to see more from this too guys

he is also sopmeone we need for the future, we dont have that kind of midfielders nowadays

you are wrong, i kind of like this chato, he isnt bad, he plays better outise of the goal, he played some good games

yes, i agree latorre viene de arriba hacia abajo, but he can be used later

no words here, we already know him

    you forgot to mention

socola - great future, in there, i would like to see him defendinf more, cuz when he attacks he does it very well, but i havent seen him defending so much

huevo ruiz - a good substitution, he is a different kind of player, he has a great future

luis trujillo - unforutanelty he has correa in fornt of him, but this guy has potential, i hjope alianza gives him, manco, hermoza, socola, and the rest of jotitas an opportunity

coavoy- we didnt get to see him, but he has to be called up for amistosos

so far i mentioned 16 people, 21 went to corea, if we add coavoy that makes 22, so we have this 6 players left

gallese, ulloa - we dont know anything about them

    now 4 left

cuto zevallos - this guys i dont really like him, stay in la U
molina - i liked when he came in to replace the injured munoz, he didnt play bad
chino claderon - i didnt like this one too
daniel sanchez - another latorre, in el sudamericano he played better than in this wc, i hope oblitas gives him an opportunity along with .... ismodes, delgado, huevo ruiz, salazar, this guys were born in 1990, or 89, so they can make it for the next sudamericano for sub20

hermoza improved a lot, i rememebr the day i watched that racing 5 al 0 in late december around the 16th or 18th

he was scared, he looked all weak when he had to take control over the ball, i dodnt see him taking with his defenders,

but now this hermoza improved a lot, i would compared the one hermoz i saw in december with those towo games we had in el sudamericano peru 1 brasil 4, and colombia 3 -peru 0, but the hermoza we all want to see is the one that saved us from a goleada in the game with ghana, or the game he had agaisnt ecuador in segunda ronda del sudamericano, or the one game we played costa rica, or togo

thats the hermoza, we all want to see, mama!

Hidalgo's played in Argentina, Brazil, Russia, Paraguay, Spain's 2nd division, was on the Best 11 of the 1997 Copa America. If Correa can do that he should be happy.

I just hope they don't stick him at left back just because he's a lefty and likes to hustle. He can be another Vargas or a lefty Jorge Soto.

Johnny Vegas?? No jodas pues.

i don't think that's a bad prediction considering that there's no way of knowing for sure for now since they are too young rite now, he pretty much said all of them will have a great future
