Folks, I was in Buenos Aires last week and had the opportunity to visit the Bombanera. I wanted to share this image with you in the hopes that 'ol GBS leaves a similar mark on the Crew. Just as long as it ain''t against us.
He was and will always be River's pain in the A$$ I have hated him for years, but respect him, I am gald for the EFFORT and ENTHUISAISM he has show in MLS. And when I went to see the Red Bulls - Crew I gave him a few FU's. But this league needs alot more Schelotto's than they do Beckhams.
-Deja el corazon en la cancha cada vez que juega! Translated to mean: He leaves his heart on the field every time he plays. Basically he gives 110%. He's focused, concentrated and determined. He's also selfish because he only thinks about HIS team winning and HIS team getting ahead. He's the epitome of the winning mentality and doesnt think in 2nd best. I also agree 100% with El Mono Mario, MLS needs more players like Schelotto. The fire, passion and determination that he brings to the game is unsurpassed. If all the MLS teams had at least one player like him, the league would change for the better. Can you imagine at least one player on the field asking the fans to cheer? to support the home side? Someone challenging the crowd to partake in the game?
