Anyone know anything about Canadian television stations showing the MLS Playoffs and Cup?

CBC will have the MLS Cup. Not sure about any playoff games.

One of my pet peeves is that we get absolutely no non-TFC MLS games. We now have 3 soccer channels. I don't see why FSWC couldn't pick up the Saturday games on FSC. MLS won't truly grow in this country until we have decent access to games from the rest of the league.

I'm sure they'll fix this before next season.

I haven't really been looking, but often I've tripped over an MLS game on HDNet Canada on a Saturday night - channel 541 on Rogers. And with the HD picture, it really puts the TFC broadcasts to shame.

Yep, HDNet carries a weekly game. It is very good quality too. Also, there is a Boston channel (WSKB?) that carries New England Revolution games from time to time.

    Cheers!

I'm trying to avoid HD for a few more years. When it costs as much as regular digital cable, I'll switch over.

I still don't see why any other soccer broadcaster couldn't pick these games up dirt cheap.

Funny, I would swear that FSWC was airing a weekly MLS game LAST SEASON. A Canadian city gets a team and they drop this coverage? I don't get it.

I subscribe to MLSLiveTV and I'm hoping that the normal restrictions won't apply for the postseason.. but I'm not optimistic.

The MLSLive TV is the best deal because of the lack of exposure of the MLS in Canada but I hope one day this can be figured out.
