Hello Rapids fans, here is a few things most of us should consider before we post a question, thought, or idea. It would be a great benefit to all of us posters, if we need not to read through threads that have already been posted, or posts that are threads that can be placed in other ones.

AS most of us are Rapids supporters and watch and live with the team, we would like to make the Rapids forum a more condensed one. If you have a question about a DP or have new or info about a DP, please post it in the Rapids DP thread [DON'T start a new one].

If you want to talk anything Not Rapids Related, there is a thread for it. So please post it in there.

Most of you have expressed that you don’t like much sticky's, well if you follow most of these guidelines you won't have to worry about them...

    Posting and other things...

Using [R] in a thread title --After a game is over or during a game please use [R] in the thread title, as some of us record the games and rewatch it. It would be of great knowledge to see the [R] part in the title if I have not yet viewed the game, as I Don't want to see the [R]esult. (If you are not aware, the [R] part in the title means that the result or a result has been posted.)

Starting new threads -- Before you start a new thread, please check the existing threads on the first and second pages or sometimes a couple of more pages back of the forum to see if the subject is already being discussed. Please. If you're new, it's generally a good idea to join some existing discussions for a while before starting a new thread anyway.

Using the [NRR] -- This is a symbol/code word for anything not RAPIDS related. So if you want to talk about a player leaving America, please post [NRR], so some of us who can care less about what happens around us, can skip the thread. (N-Not, R-Rapids, R-Related)

Subforum -- We only have ONE sub forum, it is the Colorado Rapids sub forum, anything Class VI/Centennial Firm related will be posted in there. Do not post any Rapids Supporter group stuff in the Rapids Forum, what would be the point of a sub forum then? You can also see and join the website cosoccerfans.com as there is more general things in there, i.e., Rapids stuff and private boards.

    Good points.

But really, is all this time on your hands a sign of something else? Personally, I'm thinking it's a sign that you need to fill this extra time in your hands with multiple girlfriends. ;)

Thank you for taking the time to put that together. It's always helpful to have around with some new folks joining us every now and then.

I actually took a template[from some other threads] and rewrote some things, there is no way I have that much free time to do that. The only thing I worte from free hand is the opening statement, the rest was 'revised' from other sites. But on the other hand-I have a lot more free time at school than most people think. And the rest of the day I have left-which is around 3.5hrs I spend here or talking to my ONE girlfriend....

    Just if you were wonderin...:)

    LOL-No

Just wanted everyone to understand that there is more to posting threads and results than meets the eye. And there is some valuable information some newbies should be aware of, it was for the some of us who dislike opening a thread with a result in it. Or viewing a thread that we though we wanted to read, but was completly different than what we thought.

And there are some imcomeptent people who post new threads, that can easily go into already existing ones.
