You guys let's face it, this has been the greatest MLS season ever. It has actually been exciting before the playoffs which is outstanding, the players have been incredible that have been coming in i mean imagine our all-star team with all of the crazy players that have signed. But i personally think that Becks has taken over and now that he is injured all of that hype is for nothing, and i'm sick of it. What do you guys think?

    Not sure I quite follow.

I had fun this season, and I could care less what happens to Beckham. Once my city gets a team, I'll be glad to see him off the roster.

I think MLS's FO learned their marketing lesson the hard way, and i also think that if you thought 2007 was fun, wait until you see 2008.

-Becks at 100%, with possibly Klinsmann coaching Galaxy
    -RSL with a new stadium
-Toronto All Star game possibly with Becks and Blanco on the same team
-Euro 2008 on ABC and ESPN in its entirety
-Better MLS teams representing in the CCC and Superliga
    -More DP signings
-San Jose's back, and two other expansion teams will be building new stadiums for 2009 or 2010 along with New Jersey and possibly Houston, Kansas City, Washington DC, New England, or all four.
-US Soccer in Bejing for the Olympics on NBC

RSL is gonna have a new stadium ready for the start of the 2008 season? I REALLY doubt it.
Well, the US hasn't qualified yet and they DIDN'T qualify last time...

I was hoping someone would start another Beckham thread. By my count, we were at least one short for today's quota.

I think this has been the best season that I can remember. I can't wait til we get rid of playing in those football stadiums.

It's been nothing but hype to begin with. You know how it goes. The powers' that be plant a seed & hype it all up & pass it on to the media & they just run with it. That's all you hear about 247. Then like everything else people get tired of it & want a new show! The next great thing & on & on. There are still some pretty good teams' with some good players' playing right now in the MLS so I suggest checking that out. As for the injured Spice Boy well no telling when he will be back on duty for the Spice Boys' so enjoy the rest of the season & remember the MLS was around before the Spice Boy came here & it will be around more than likely after he's gone off to another place to sell shirts.
