Yes. Shaky last week but still the better choice.

Yes he should. That was a fluke and we all know he won't do that again.

Conway's blunder cost us the game against NE, but Walrus' effort against DC was horrendous.

My answer depends on Waterreus' personal reasons. If he's back and fit, bench Conway for a game at least. Let him focus from the bench.

If Waterreus is still having issues, start Conway of course.

And never let an emotional teenage fan near the roster sheet. Too many hormones! :D

The game notes email from the Red Bulls FO lists Wattereuss as the probable starter.

Hmmm ... that fits with Bruce's known inclinations. Freeman has one terrible match, he benches him. Why not the same for Conway?

ABSOLUTELY Conway should start. Bruce, however, will probably allow Waterreus to mess up another crucial game.

Both of them suck. Conway's mistake was very costly last week. And does anyone remember the game against Chivas USA on ESPN Primetime where the Chivas guy shot a low ball directly at Conway and he dove to his right and the ball went in.
One question, does Walrus/Wateruseless still come way off his line and let guys loft it over his head into the goal? I remember the game against KC where he let 3 goals in like that I was so pissed.

Conway and let Watershitz play in reserves a few times to see how he is.

:D haha you guys hate Ron so much. The names you come up for him are so funny (i.e. Wateruseless, Watershits, Walrus)

That's really because the vaunted and feared Chicago offense didn't show up tonight. I could've broken my foot before the game, played in goal and earned a clean sheet against the Fire.

:D A tad harsh, Roehl. True about the Fire offense, though.

I thought he looked right; confident in a way he has not since before the injury.
You get the feeling, though, that if Blanco had put that chip about three feet higher and it had gone in, things might have been very different from that point.

I thought the Walrus looked like his old self yesterday.... I know he wasn't really tested but when he was he looked calm and collected..not panicky as in previous games so I am hopeful he will be ready for Chivas in LA next week...

Though not tested much, I agree Watereauss did look good again. Hope he stays like this.
