Independeinte just lost again tonite, which leaves Boquita with a chance to grab first place with a win at home tomorrow afternoon.

The team seems to be the same that started against Independiente ... with the added incentive of knowing that Gracian is on the bench and that Roman could be 6 days away from fielding again.

    Caranta
    Ibarra - Maidana - Morel - Urribarri
    Ledesma - Battaglia - Banega - Datolo
    Palacio - Palermo

It's hard to believe the way they have been playing that we can take first place. But it's there.

I am hoping Huracan does well, but not today. Let's destroy them.

    Vamos Boca!!!

    Halftime. Boca 0 Huracan 0.

It's the same old story. They have the ball, they create chances, they don't score, and they look suspect in the back.

    Vamos Boca!

    FT 1-0. First place :D.

I'm still baffled by Russo's tactics and subs. I have no clue why he doesn't start Gracian. And Datolo was having a great game and he takes him out.

Two weeks in a row infact. I too would like to see Gracian start over Datolo. Even though Datolo has played with a ton of heart and energy, I still hate waiting for him to make that one touch too many.

Yes, Datolo probably had his best official game at Boca as a starter. Too bad his last touch is so unsensitive ... except for that one cross that Palermo controlled with his chest and then shot over the cross bar.

It is insane to see the number of wasted chances once again. And even thou the build-up was in the most part not smooth, there was no doubt who deserved the 3 points.

The next game against Colon will be a tuff one. Hopefully, Gracian will start and we will have Roman already on the bench. This is a key game.

Russo needs to start subbing Palermo off and bringing Boselli in towards the end more often. What's the point of having these forwards if he's not even going to use them? And Palermo's 34 already. I don't think really fit to be playing full 90 games and he's slow enough as it is. Not to mention he misses too many easy chances for my liking. For every 15 chances he gets he might score 1.
