I was hopping to get some help from other MLS season ticket holders. I was wondering if you know how much your season tickets will increase for next year. I have season tickets to Toronto FC. I paid $200 for my seats this season and I will have to pay $226 per seat in 2008 (a 13% increase). The All-Star game is a seperate cost. I realize its early, so a lot of teams probably haven't sent out their renewals yet, but I just wanted to gauge how things are going in the rest of the league. If you can inform me on past increases/decreases in previous years as well, that would be greatly appreciated.
Galaxy Fieldside $3180 ($159/game) Sideline $960 ($48/game) Corner $730 ($36.60/game) 200C $620 ($31/game) Endline and Supporters Section $530 ($26.50/game) GA $410 ($20.50/game)
I have club seats at TOYOTA PARK and you have to sign a lease agreement of two, four, or six years, two year leases 5%, four year leases 3% and 6 year leases 1%. Two year leases: 2006 1,200 2007 1,260 2008 you have to sign another lease agreement Four year leases: 2006 1,200 2007 1,236 2008 1,273 2009 1,311 2010 you have to sign another lease agreement Six your leases: (These are the one I have, you get free parking ($15 a game if you buy two or more tickets.) 2006 1,200 2007 1,212 2008 1,224 2009 1,236 2010 1,248 2011 1,260 2012 you have to sign another lease agreemnt, I believe this year tickets prices are going to go throw to roof.
Thanks to all those who responded. TFC's average increase will be 13% according to media reports here. I haven't been able to find a price breakdown yet of all the different price levels, but I will post it when I do.
S.I.U. The self-proclaimed greatest fans in MLS can easily absorb that increase, especially with the waiting lines for season tickets.
I have no problem with the increase. I started this thread to have some ammunition when debating the whiners on the TFC board. And just to get a general picture of prices in the rest of the league. I don't think a $26 increase is that hard to swallow.
I'm sorry, I must have missed the memo announcing that Daniel Snyder had purchased the Galaxy from AEG...
