Well we kind of see where Dempsey will be going in Jan out of Fulham
This got to be a diss at Dempsey, and I think Fulham should of gotten another CB instead.

Seol sucks, if Deuce can't play ahead of him then there is something definately wrong. I think this move has more to do with the LG on the front of the jersey.

Seol has been absolutely sucking it up at Reading after having a great first two months there. Injuries have played a big part in that and I hear he's still being bothered by injuries.

Hey, he's having acupuncture treatment. so should be fine any day now.

this was first fuled by the notion that LG wanted a korean on their roster. that plain seems idiotic.

as a Reading fan, can't say I'm displeased. Rosenoir is a player with a nice future. Seol was a nice squad player, but we have people in place for his role.

Hey, Dempsey has got be willing to accept a little competition. That's how it is in the Premiership. He knew that it would be more competitive coming in. Sanchez needs cover, as well. What if Dempsey goes down? It's very rare for a player to go through the entire season without injury. Very rare. Plus, one isn't guaranteed their position like in the MLS, where there is no depth.

Personally, I think this is more competition for Davies than Dempsey. Seol looked his best IMHO when he played Right mid. When he tries to be a forward, he hasn't been that good, IMHO. Granted they both can play the withdrawn striker type role. Who knows what Sanchez is thinking though honestly. Does he have a plan....or is it just a series of moves just to make moves?

Maybe he's more cover for mcb until he heals, he can use his head.

Hmm. Lost in the Dempsey talk is the fact that this somewhat reduces the competition for Convey at his position... (indirectly, because some of Convey's competition may end up getting more minutes on the right side).

Not is Rosenoir, as expected, is switched to a right back/right wing mode.

Convey's role is set. Seol was clearly never going to get time on the left for Reading. Even last year, when the general thought was that hunt was total crap and little was healthy on the right and playing, was it considered.

Convey is trying to unseat Hunt, end of. Now, maybe lost in this discussion is that convey had his best game since the injury this weekend. He's not back, but he getting there. And, after back to back losses, changes are needed.

I'm not nearly as nonchalant about this move as most here. Seol Ki Hyun plays virtually the same positions as Clint Dempsey (withdrawn forward, attacking midfielder, right-sided mid) and really is a pretty productive player. If it weren't for the fact that McBride is out, I'd be seriously worried about Dempsey's chances for ample PT.

The good thing about this move, though, is Ki Hyun's move will definitely improve Fulham. I had the Cottagers tipped for relegation before the start of the season, so they can use all the help they can get.
