Yeah, not bad at all... The injuries piled up on the right, have forced Macca to call up Bentley..

Wouldn't be a bad selection if this was the Michael Owen of 2002-2006 instead of the current version of Michael Owen; or if McSven wasn't doomed to select Gerrard out right again with Beckham injured and retain Lampard in the middle.

Not sure what Ashley Young/Nicky Shorey's presence in the squad does to change the results from earlier in the campaign. They won't feature, not that they should.

Its going to be more of the same Keystone Cops garbage from England with the same backbone of a squad, with Crouch in for Rooney, that has put the qualification campaign in serious jeopardy.

Owen is doing better. Scored a goal for Newcastle in their last game, and his fitness seems to be almost there. Gerrard may not play right.. Who knows, McMuppet may stick SWP or Bentley out on the right. The defense should be solid..Pray Richards stays healthy and ready to go.

    no pennant, no kevin nolan.

at this point, with lampard possibly out i can only hope that england don't qualify for euro2008 so mcclaren will be gone.

i'm ever optimistic either way but they really don't have a serious chance left.

There is plenty of quality to get the results these next 2 games. October rolls around, and others will be back healthy. Gotta keep the faith..

It's beginning to look like McSven won't have a chance to mismanage the game. Injuries are taking any sort of logic out of his choices. Coming down to luck now.
