Can anyone give me a brief analysis of him? i.e. gets forward a lot, good crosser, etc. So far all I know is that he's a 20 year old leftback with a good shot. I managed to catch 2-3 Portugal U-21 and U-20 games this past summer, but its tough to judge a player on such a small sample.
I think we now just about the same as you do. At least I have only seen him playing in the U-21. He has a nice shot indeed, nothing overwhelming though. Defensively he was irreprehensible on that tournament and his crosses are pretty decent. Not afraid of getting dirty.

Yeah, was thinking the same thing myself. That's nothing to be surprised at all, he is from a region with a lot of celtic blood as opposed to the south with more moorish.
