Wow. Though it was always my (probably misinformed) understanding that the organization at least implicitly approved of steroid use if they didn't actually supply. I wonder if the wrestlers will fight back.

They're being suspended because they wouldn't take steroids, right?

Espn had an article about the list of WWE Superstars in a baseball topic (possible ten or so listed two months ago or so). But some are about to make a come back. I thought. You could use steriods but you just cannot compete. So if you take some time off and bulk up then coe back. That was okay but supposedly in some states. Any consumption prior to athletic events is not prohibited. Just about all sports its like that. In some cases, it doesn't even matter if you have a condition with medical advice (cancer fatigue whatever). If you violate policy, the punishment gets harsh. Right! Thats about all I've gotten out of ordeal.

No names named yet in crackdown There is the list. It really makes you wonder if Edge was injured or he just took his time off. But this article gives its policies view in short.
From the comment section toward bottom.

WWE's steroid policy is tougher than baseball.

The sad part, I'm not kidding.

Edit: Edge's injury was legit, there was video of him getting the operation to fix it.

Same here.I thought they had to be high on steroid (if not outright illegal stuff) to "perform" with such intensity.

Easier to compile a list of guys who aren't juicing.

    Mick Foley
    Stephanie McMahon (I think)
Chris Benoit (at least, not recently)

McMahon doesn't pay himself to wrestle so he doesn't have to test himself. Of course the WWE will still use it as a draw. "WHO GOT SUSPENDED?!?!? TUNE IN THIS MONDAY ON RAW AND FIND OUT!!!"

So these are real-life people? I thought it was just a technological advance in realism over, say, Celebrity Death Match on MTV.

    CM Punk I would guess.

When Stephanie was the women's champ I had my suspicions about her, but since she had the kid I'd assume she's clean, except for the high levels of silicone in her system.

Funaki had an injury, I'd guess he had a legit reason to take them.

And doesn't the energy and commerce commission have bigger fish to fry than wrestling? Like I don't know, why the the oil companies are ripping people off in record style?

This is going to get cute. I'd imagine at least one of these wrestlers is going to start pointing fingers back at the WWE.
