My god man! use your other foot when clearing that ball. Eventhough Pachuca had a field day slicing our D, Cannon stopped all of their chances. Pete, it's your fault man.. now go ask to get traded to TFC :D

He should be the first player out of town when Klinsmann is hired.

Add me to the "Unload Pete" list. I'll pay subscription fees if need be. We just need him out.

Why was he first up for the penalty kicks? He has never shown any offensive tendencies. In fact, he probably should be wearing the opposing team's jersey. What an incredible liability.

I think he wanted to redeem himself for his early f up. But he's irredeemable.

I came late to the game so I missed the own goal. I watched it on YouTube and admittedly it was a low point.

But not having seen that... I had to note that watching what I watched last night, Pete was solid in the field. He generally did a commendable job maintaining possession and finding the open man. He was quick and smart about his play, and he showed heart and determination.
I feel bad for the guy on the goal. Things happen. Good defenders woof every once in a while.
Even the best of players miss penalties [Baggio in 94- leading scorer for team and the WC, skies it into the crowd] it happens. Calero did a good job reading all of those penalties. He got the direction right on all of them, but wasn't able to keep out 3.

Granted that he had one bone head play that costs us, it would be unfair and a drastic overstatement that he craps his pants when the ball is at his feet. He played well last night EXCEPT for that woof... and those kind of things happen to the best as well.
