This is going to be very tough but gotta believe...

    I say USA 2-1 Germany.

Surely we can go from losing to Tajikstan to beating Argentina in the final!

Germans are making it look a little to easy. And their striker is a freaking wall. How big is that guy?

We've had just 2 shots on goal in the half, and both are from set pieces.

This is on TVants, if you go to myp2p and look under England-Syria, click on CableSoccer and that is actually USA-Germany. It's buffering a lot though.

    My halftime observation:

Glad Urso is in the game, but apparantly Hackworth has not learned his lesson with Jeffries in the middle. Everytime we have a good chance to counter when he touches the ball he slows everything down with a back pass. I have seen better midfielders in high school play here in Kentucky!

I would have liked to seen Ibrahim get the start up top, he still has the ability to open up the defense with his runs better than any other forward we have on the roster it seems. We could get lucky and he could actually strike the ball.

I still stand by my original observation, Zimmerman is only there because of his name! He is not good enough to be on the roster!

The only positive i take away from the first half is noticing how good Lambo is! He is head and shoulders above MacMath! The dude is an agile monster!

I like that Germany know to blanket Nimo and to put pressure on our Central Midfielders. They know our midfielders can't handle the pressure! Have we even gotten a shot on goal yet?

2nd half prediction: USA defense will tire down and Germany will win 4-0. No attack or midfield play for the stars and stripes!
