Pass back, now let's score on our own goal Vagenas?

My attention on our G's...for my ladies down at the Beach. On the 31st.
And also my attention for one code of football for another on the side.

    Vegenas for sure.

I saw Buddle do absolutely nothing either.

Pavon too. Time for him to go.

I actually thought Pete played good in the game. It was a coaching mistake to put weak little Pete against that huge keeper. He should have shot 2nd or 3rd. And Donovan should have been 4th.

But overall, Buddle was awful . He must have given the ball away 8 straight times over a 15 minute period in the 2nd half and more in overtime ..and then the breakaway..awful...I gave him the benefit of the doubt...but he ...well, he just sucks.

Actually, my university women's soccer team do begin their season on Friday. See the Big West thread for all the details.

Buddle is the worst player on this team. That's saying a lot.

I could do without he and Gordon, but Buddle has to go first.

Cobi PLAYED GREAT tonight!!!! BOTH COBI AND CHRIS KLEIN CO GALAXY PLAYERS OF THE GAME.....The Galaxy should be champs but, choked....Disappointing....COBI should be honored as team MVP at the end of the season.....HE came in the second half and the Galaxy immediately looked like a different team.....Time to at least acknowledge that COBI IS NOT WASHED UP....HE PROVED THIS against Chelsea and against Pachuca (now twice) What more can he do....

    Once in a lifetime

    Bigtimers.

    Landon Donovan .

As a soccer player you live your life for the moment Landon Donovan had tonight. 99% of soccer players will never get to take the penalty to win any cup. win a match in front of thousands screaming and millions watching

I am so disappointed for him.

Landon has to leave. He's one of my favirote players, but he's a choker. Get rid of him please.

Vagenas played a decent game, besides the OG and the missed PK, I thought he did well, but should not start.

Get rid of Martino's ********** ass unless he grows some balls. He gets in, then tries to draw the foul instead of finish, reminds me alot of my Clippers Corey Maggette.

Buddle and/or Pavon HAVE got to go as well, but Gordon for sure.

I AM DISAPPOINTED FOR COBI AND THE FANS...........This could have been one last championship for Cobi Jones and the fans he could have celebrated at the HDC since the team is a severe long shot to make the playoffs. At least Cobi did his part tonight....I also don't think I have ever seen him take a pk before....I only remember him taking them when the MLS had the infamous shootouts which I saw Cobi take those at the Old Rose Bowl

I say Vagenas is as valuable as a jagged metallic anal bead, not any good unless you like to feel beat down and butt hurt. Oh wait I guess the Galaxy these days are feeling a little like masochists. I as a fan am not. Sop get rid of the Gimps Yallop and Alexi. Send them to SJ where they'll be welcomed.

Anyone saying Landon needs to go is crazy. He had a great game. He missed the pk that could have won us the game but he played with passion and heart. Even the best players miss PKs

I also thought Landon played great, he was actually running with the ball and taking people on like we always want him to do. The PK was struck hard enough and well placed but he didn't look at the keeper who was already on his way to that side.

Anyone notice that Martino gets the ball played to him in great positions but then takes around 3 seconds to trap the ball and decide to look up? He kills every breakaway given to him.

I am super dissapointed for Donovan. He played a great game, though. And the Galaxy wouldn't be in the final at all if it weren't for him. He was injured, doubtful for the game, coming off of an exhausting stretch of games. Stupid pk. But better players than him have missed.

Vagenas was effing putrid, so was whatever that forward's name, gordon or whatever.

Overall, I thought the Galaxy played fantastic. Pachuca should have crushed them. But they played all the way with pride.

Watching after the 50th minute the players who looked the worst to me were your left-back (Roberts?), Buddle, Xavier, aaand... This one other guy. Starts with a L, ends with an N. Hmmm.

There is absolutely no freakin' way either Xavier OR Pavon will end up getting traded-its too unlikely. Xavier is pretty much the only thing holding the defense together at this point, and lets not forget he just recently came back after that injury. Yeah he missed that PK, but overall I would have to say he did pretty well in defensive plays. Pavon would also be an unlikely candidate in my opinion-he has shown brilliance in the past and does have the ability to score. I would like to see his play with Beckham improve-remember the header in the LAG vs. RBNY game? I think he has the potential to deal out more of that if they work on it.

Remember that 1st header early in the match that Beckham sent towards Landon? A taller player would have scored with it. He is too short, too thin. They need some muscle and height down there.
