Its over now and not too much of a bother to me, but I'd like to have it off my record as I don't really think it was deserved (if that even matters, I don't know). Who do I talk to about it? I was given a yellow card for "Spamming" because whenever I posted a video here that I had originally done for my site (I'd guess I shouldn't link to it) I put a link to my site as well. It was OK I guess until I slipped up once and posted highlights twice in one thread both with links and was then carded. All of this after a bogus claim that there was a virus connected with my site (never has been complained of besides one person).
We don't usually expunge records - I don't think this was related to the virus issue, but assuming you aren't spamming, the note on your profile isn't really an issue.
Right then, no worries...I was worried if I ever got another yellow (for whatever reason) that I'd be gone (like a soccer match, I can't find the rules on that in the FAQs). On my site I generally classify spam as someone who is only there to get their links out. I have over 1000 posts here, I think its fair to say thats not why I'm here
Maybe you rec'd it a little unfairly. You are back to zero points so it's not really an issue, but you can plead your case if it seems to be held against you at a later date.
