Martino is driving me to drink. I'm going to go out on a limb and say his 2010 dream is flatlining.

I hope so.....Beckham obviously has a passion for the game, and he must have been looking forward to today as a chance to win something worthy and redeem the season for his team.....and then another bloody injury.

That's not what innocuous means. That's the opposite of what it means.

Beckham looks like he's about to have an emotional breakdown.

Man, Beckham looks like he's in tears. Does he care about this as much as the WC? I think that was the last time we saw him crying. Or maybe he's just badly injured.

Hopefully Martino's MLS career is over. Select coach and maybe USL.

Might need to rethink the wisdom of all the "Beckham friendlies" in Minnesota and Timbuktu and wherever the hell else...

Beckham out with ACL. At 33 that is usually a career ender. Maybe if he is lucky 12-15 months out but with a week knee.

Take away Xavier and Cannon and the LA defense lets in 7 to a PDL team. Truly horrible.

Beckham looks like he's about to break down and sob. I really hope he hasn't done in his ACL.

Re: OFFICIAL 2007 SuperLiga Final thread

There was a huge meeting the other day, which basically boils down to win or you are gone. Though I think he is already gone and Klins is taking over at the weekend. so i assume that is why he looks so completely marose

Hey, maybe the Galaxy won't have to go to Minnesota and Vancouver in the middle of their season now.

I feel really bad for Frank Yallop. He's a better manager than this. He just got some really crappy players (not including Donovan, Beckham, Cannon, and Xavier).

If anyone, we should put the blame on Alexi Lalas & AEG. We should also blame MLS for the sorry excuse for a schedule we have. I would much rather see us go to a European schedule once all the clubs have their own Soccer-Specific Stadium.

I'll say again -- I don't understand the Galaxy hostility. Beckham's hardly an evil guy. Yallop's in an impossible situation with the injury crisis. The trades -- yeah, not looking good now. But yeesh -- when did they become the Yankees of MLS? The Yankees don't have raw kids playing center field.

Why are Galaxy defending deep when they are 1-0 down?

Unless you're God, I'm not sure how you can diagnose an ACL tear via TV.
