Beckham looked like he was really in pain there. And both guys came out, Beckham and Salazar, but I didn't see that Salazar got hurt. Man, we wouldn't ever let the Tuzo fans take over Robertson like the Galácticos have. That's just plain embarrassing. I really thought that if they limited the attendance it might keep Tuzos out, only LA season ticket holders would go, or something. But guess I was wrong, huh?
The Galaxy front office is so inept, letting Beckham play this game was stupid. He needed a rest, so why have him play with against a very physical Pachuca team? Thankfully AEG has a great front office here in Houston.
Thus ends the Great Beckham Experiment of 2007. I think it was his knee, and I think he's done this season. This is the unfortunate side of playing in the circus of LA. The LAG braintrust of Lalas and Yallop are F'ing idiots to play Beckham. So now Becky has screwed up his ankle and knee. Smart thing is to sit him out the rest of the year and have him come back next year. Don't be surprised if he has surgery on that ankle due to tendon problems.
