I can't seem to find if there was another thread on this topic

I been trying to get tickets today to the MLS Cup and i am having a hard time finding what i want.

Ticketmaster won't give me the best sits i want, in lower tier midfield.
It even gave me tickets in section 412. Looking at the RFK seating chart 412 does not exist.

I need 6 tickets in the 206-207-208. Can anyone help !!!!!!

Does anybody know if they will designate supporter's sections for the teams playing?

I dont think you can get them lower bowl tickets since the DC season holders probably have priority to pre-order and order extras in those sections. I think they will open the upper bowl like for the Beckham game and will be selling those first.

That seating chart doesn't include the upper deck sections, but they do in fact exist.

I been to both previous MLS Cups there and never had a problem getting lower bowl tickets.

Anyone know how good is the Mezz sitting ? But even for that they only offerd corner sitting at Ticketmaster.
Should i call the DC United ticket office ?

    thanks guys

There are about 9,000 fewer lower bowl seats available now. They tore out one whole end of the lower level when the Nats moved in.

EDIT: calling the ticket office is probably a good idea (even if all they can tell you is to put a group together or call ticketmaster). And Mezz seats are decent, but you might be better off in midfield upper-deck seats than corner mezz. Upper deck at RFK is actually pretty decent, at least in the 400-level sideline seats.

I'm just speaking from exp of dealing with dcu from the Beckham game, lower bowl were sold out to season tix holders and by the time it went public it was the upper decks.

I've been to the upperdecks of RFK, the 400 level is very decent, as long as you are not in row 1 or 2 you should have no obstructions to the field. Row 1 and 2 might have a handrail that occasionally block the site. But overall the upperdeck is a decent view. I actually perfer 400 than the 300 section.

    Good Luck.
