Yea, I think that the Mainz 05 is speculation on behalf of Enlajugada because no one is talking about it, niether Colo-Colo or Hernandez. Hopefully its a rumour and he is going to a 1st division.

Casi me quedo dormido..

Gio is a crap team super star u put him against crap teams and he will be god like thats why we should play him against boliva and venezulea and we will get a great result but u put him against any semi capable team and he sucks. The chilean league has 2-3 good teams and eveyrone else sucks thats why Gio is good unless he plays U Cath or the team he played yesterday.... any other team and he is god like he has been that way forever

and the person saying they over marked him I saw it for like 30 misn and he was never marked they didnt even bother marking him in the 1st period and had a few good passes but he was basically the whole mid field and that is def not what I want for Colombia if thats what Pinto is thinkin

Dude, sorry to wake you up to the hard, cold reality: Venezuela is playing much better than we are, just see most of their Copa America games and their most recent friendly.... i would bet my money on Venezuela against our Pinto team.. especially if he starts Troncanuncallega
Venezuela has been working with the same coach and team for years and it shows..

You have to stop putting down other NTs and other leagues, because we are not that great ourselves..

Venezuela is not in a better state than Colombia...they were in the easiest round in the Copa...they never played a strong team besides Uruguay and that didn't turn out too well....I highly doubt that they would win come a game with Colombia...

Let's stop making excuses about the Concacaf having bad teams, Venezuela having an easy group, etc etc.. we sucked in La Copa America and Venezuela played a lot better than we did.

and sorry to burst your bubble..but Venezuela already beat us in the qualifiers 3 or so years ago in Barranquilla!!

    15/11/2003 Colombia 0 - 1 Venezuela

and in Maracaibo we weren't able to beat them.. we tied 0-0 on 2005/03/26, so let's stop trashing other NTs and other leagues, cos we ain't that great..

so did Bolivia and Panama beat us in the Gold Cup...will you argue that they are going to beat us now...Venezuela doesn't have more futbol than us, I am not going to argue that because it's a waste of time. What I will tell you is that Concacaf does not consist of Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia and Uruguay...so I fail to understand your response.

Nobody can compare the WC Qualifiers to the The Gold Cup, please!!
We lost and failed to beat Venezuela in the last WC Qualifiers, and they did a better job than we did in La Copa America, which is another serious tournament.
Let's leave the cheesy Friendly games and tournaments out of this..

What i said about the Concacaf was addressed to other people who always seem to have an excuse when I state the fact that Mexico and the USA are ranked higher than Colombia in the FIFA rankings...and the fact that the USA, Mexico and Costa Rica have done just as well if not better in World Cups than we have..

The excuses are always the same: The Concacaf have weak teams, we had toughs group in the World Cups, Maturana sucks, blah blah blah..

Why don't we all just accept the fact that our soccer is not as great as a lot of people here seem to think it is?

Gio Hernandez said he was to play for nats again, is he going to be playing the peru game? Also, what happened to the news that a german team was interested in him, he is a bit old to be moving to Europe now? would hate to see him burn out like that at 31....

Your right, we are inferior. I am scared as hell when the qualifiers come and strong teams like Venezuela come at us...oh my god why would they bring 50+ Colombians into their league, they're futbol is so much more stronger than ours, they always make it to finals or semis in Copa Libertadores and they've qualified to so many world cups...oh the humanity!

I say we give Gio ONE more game against a terrible team and see if he can do anything. The guy is so easy to mark out of a game you just have to kick the shit out of him one time.

I want Colombia to win as much as the next guy, but I don't live in a constant state of denial. We suck and we can blame it on who ever, the coach, our forwards, the federation, our heart less players, not calling up the ones we think should be on the NT, but the facts are that we haven't qualified for a WC since 94 and consistently lose to average teams and cant beat a good team to save our lives. To bad Ecuador gets to play in Quito that means that there probably going to qualify and we will have to scrape bye to get the 5th spot.

Lets see how far the best team in Colombia gets us in the Suramericana after they beat a bad Millonarios team.

I am not disrespecting anyones "rules" (what rules??)
You don't own this forum, if you like to edit things out, get your own forum!
You may think my arguments are stupid, because you have no arguments of your own.
There are other people here who are being disrespectful against other NTs and leagues.. those posts should be the ones edited out, not mine.

If you don't like my posts, just don't read them. Nobody you is forcing you to.
Nobody is forcing anyone to reply to my posts...
If i remember correctly you said you weren't coming back to this forum.. why are you here?

Yes, there are rules. The mod can easily delete you or close the thread if you go off topic. So much for your ability to pose and defend your argument.

on another note, I found this article on my comp the other day: remember this

    Japón extranó a Nakamura

    0. Japón: Seigo Narazaki; Nobuhisa Yamada, Keisuke Tsuboi, Tsuneyasu Miyamoto, Alex Santos; Koji Nakata, Mitsuo Ogasawara (Daisuke Matsui, m.73), Hidetoshi Nakata, Yasuhito Endo (Daisuke Oku, m.85); Naohiro Takahara, Yoshito Okubo (Yuichiro Nagai, m.66). DT: Artur Antunes Coimbra "Zico" (BRA).

    1. Colombia: Oscar Córdoba; Gonzalo Martínez, Mario Yepes, José Mera, Gerardo Bedoya; Jairo Patiño, Jorge López, Giovanni Hernández, Oscar Díaz (Arnulfo Valentierra, m.46); Eudalio Arriaga (Gerardo Vallejo, m.76), Víctor Aristizábal. DT: Francisco Maturana.

Arbitro: Jorge Larrionda (Uruguay).
